Have just got the Samsung. Have only been playing with it today so not checked out all its features but very, very impressed with it so far. If you do get it it's common knowledge it's a 'mare getting the battery cover off - I've known people spend up to 2 hours trying before giving in and having to take it to the shop (who've had the same problem!). There's definitely a knack - and I have it!!! :D Shout if you have probs and I'll enlighten you! :P

enlighten me now :)

not sure which one to go for.

going to pop into town tomorrow and check out both phones then ring up O2 choose my phone and start playing with it on thurs :D

Can you get facebook on the soul?

I don't have a soul, but i am pretty sure most new phones will get you on facebook with no problem at all!

I was going to get that one the other day but it wouldn't let me because I wasn't 18!

But I've found a much better one on Orange anyway for the same price so it's all good. :thumbup:

Personally, I've never liked 3. I bought a pay as you go phone with them a few years back, but was put off by the fact that they take your credit at the end of 30 days. I suppose you don't have that problem on contract though.

Cheers mate :thumbup:

No problemo. :thumbup:

all this mobile shit is doing my head in. Inclusive this bolt on that video calling other. This phone that phone...FFS i think i am going to report all the companies to ofcom for being too confusing.

i like the c902 or n95 black though i have not seen them in the flesh. so far o2 are offering the best non-haggled contracts on both

c902;

02; online 35 = £35month/12 months = £420 + £50 for phone (400 mins + 1000 txts) - 02 online tariff

n95 black;

o2; online 35 = £40month/12 months = £480 + £0 for phone (600 mins + 1000 txts) - 02 online tariff

although i didnt think much of the tmobile contracts and not had a look at virgin or orange yet or offers on the sites like mobileshop.com or played the companies against each other like Dom from dont get done get dom would do.

oh yea and what the hell has a dolphin or a racoon got to do with a mobile phone?

Valid point. It's just an advertising strategy I suppose. It also helps to distinguish between different plans.

£35 x 18 month contract = £630 + 159 = £789 + additional costs.

Good point, but the reason i'm looking at an iPhone is becasue i wanted an iPod touch but then found out it was £269.

My current Nokia 6500 Slide contract is £25 a month. So, £25 x 18 = £450 + £269 = £719. When i look at it that way i thought i might as well get the iPhone and have my iPod and Phone in one thing for £70 more, plus the iPhone contract is better than my current O2 one.

just rang orange as been with them since my first mobile about 10 years ago. without bartering they are offering;

1) c902 for free. that comes with 600 cross network mins and unlimited txts for £20 a month for 18 months = £360.

The usual price for this phone/contract is £25 a month (online price) so total of £450....so i would be saving £90 on the contract

2) n95 black for free that comes with 600 cross network mins and unlimited txts for £30 a month for 18 months = £540.

The usual price for this phone/contract is £30 a month + £50 for the phone so i would be saving £50 for the phone

i think more savings are needed if orange want my money for another 18 months

Yeah bear in mind there is no danger of a Nokia N95 lasting for 18 months. Mine was coughing and spluttering after 6.

I cancelled my orange contract the other day, but when I went through to cancellations they offered me basically any phone free and £15 off my £29 line rental. Not a bad deal, shame they don't have any decent phones in their range.

I've discovered that not only do I get unlimited everything for £25 (including mobile tv), but I can also upgrade for cheap after 10 months instead of the usual 12. And I can cancel anytime I want to. That's not happening for a long time though.

That's great but I bet your phone hasn't got a barcode reader. Hmm? Well?
