Simi Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Hoping United win. Not holding out for an entertaining match, hopefully I'll be surprised, I somehow doubt that though. Looks like Chelsea will go with spolier tactics as they did in the Cup final, where it paid off. I was there that day, I do not hope for a repeat tonight. Would love to see Scholes score the winner.
Uncle Albert Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Was watching that Champions League weekly last night and how shit does Moscow look as a city? Chelsea hopefully tonight.
Joe. Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Blatantly going to be a tight and extremely dull game. I'm thinking 0-0 after 90 mins with United (hopefully) winning it in extra time.

Same, that would make his career. Him and Rio are the only DEFINATE confirmed started by SAF. Would be nice to see Giggs break Charlton's record aswell. I'd love to see chelsea Crash and burn, it's going to be tight though

I think there will be a sending off and maybe a penalty. Isnt the ref tonight the same ref who cost Chelsea in the 2005 Semi-Final?

Definitely. United win! Come on the Ginger Genius!!! Plus its the 50 years since Munich this year so it would be a nice touch for them to win!
Simi Posted 21 May 2008 Author Posted 21 May 2008 This game has Michael Carrick written all over it. Why?
Benjani Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Why? Dunno tbh . Got a bet on with a mate that he'll score the winner.
Koke Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 So am I the only one hoping for a Chelsea win here? Sweet. You do realize if Man Utd win, the amount of red tops you'll see around in the summer will go quadruple. I don't care if Chelsea are a money-making machine, at least there are not enough of them around for me to deal with.

There's plenty of United tops around already, adding to a small amount of Forest fans that seem to have emerged from nowhere. I can't bare more Chelsea shirts showing though, then them claiming to be a massive European side. It would be painful.

You make me piss!
Tommy G Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 I can bet you now - Ronaldo, Rooney, Van der Sar will all be starting too. No doubt about it. But the two players mentioned are the ones thta SAF has told the press that will definately start.

Most people I work or socialize with are Arsenal & Man Utd fans. Chelsea fans are non-existent to me. So go Chelsea.
Ric Flair Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 I wonder how many players Chelsea will have marking Ronaldo? I hope Man Utd win, I predict there will be massive controversy at some point during this game and I think Didier Drogba or Ashley Cole will be at the heart of it. I think the game will finish 2-0 to Man Utd inside 90 mins.
Benjani Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Ronaldo hardly ever performs in the big games. I hope Park plays. I can see the team being something like this. Van Der Sar Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra Ronaldo, Carrick, Scholes, Park Tevez, Rooney.

Would be incredibly harsh on Hargreaves if he doesn't play, but Carrick has been playing well. Suppose he might drop Brown and play Hargreaves at right back. Wouldn't be shocked to see Tevez on the bench and then have Giggs behind Rooney.

At the end of the day, these people have no connection to the club they support, so its meaningless in my opinion.

If they win, they'll think they have the bragging rights to anything they want and consider themselve the biggest club in England, it would just carry on making English football a joke.

I know, it will be a pain anyway because I don't want either side to win.
Benjani Posted 21 May 2008 Posted 21 May 2008 Haven't Man U won every game of the 20 or so Park has started in the last 2 seasons. He's got to start! I can see Avram losing his temper tonight if things don't quite go his way. Poor guy, get's no credit whatsoever.
