Very disappointed at the reaction of most of you, having a go at Barnsley.

He probably wanted championship football and picked a club where he will get a regular game unlike the blunts if he had gone there.

Hope you come back up next year.

To all those who have had a go at Barnsley though i have one thing to say

Why shouldn't they have a go? You're a small town club with a pathetic support who guaranteed next season will be fighting relegation. It's hardly a step up for him. You've never been anything, will never amount to anything, and Hume showing such a lack of ambition by signing for you is quite shocking.

Dont forget if hume went for 1.2 mil we only get 960k off it as Tranmere had 20% of next sell on iirc, dont know if its been posted........

Yeah he does, I said Shit Support. We had one of the best supports in the Country last season.

Then football is in a sorrier state than I thought.

I'm sure he'll miss the spectacle of 10 per cent of of a two thirds full Walkers Stadium singing for two minutes and then settling down into silence for the rest of the 90 minutes. Me, I can't get enough of it

It took 7,000 of us at your dump to get you a league crowd above 15,000 last season. I'm looking forward to our customary points against you next season too. 25 years and counting since your last win at Hillsborough. There's a difference between clubs like ours and yours. If our takeover goes ahead we have potential as a football club as do Leicester City. You will always just be the little 3rd club in South Yorkshire and Doncaster this season might even take that crown from you. If I supported Leicester I'd be furious. Hume signing for your diddy little club is a joke. Total lack of ambition. You're just a small town in Sheffield.

If Mandaric and Hoos are to be believed, Hume wanted out. If so, bollocks to him after what he said when we went down. If they are lying, it explains his departure to Barnsley of all places as the club obviously wanted shot of him and he had no choice but to join the shit arses.

I dont know this. Can only guess that £1.2 million was an offer Leicester could not refuse

I like the assumption that all those other teams must have been after Hume, since it was written on the Barnsley website.

No. No club would do that.
