Not fussed really, I was never that impressed.

I doubt if he left for money, I wouldn't think the wages at Barnsley are any better than here. He wanted to play at a higher level, fair play to him, that doesn't make him a judas.

I think you're missing the point mate.

People aren't slagging off Hume for the sake of it.

It is because he gave newspaper/LCFC/radio interviews saying this was his club and that relegation didn't matter. And then he fooked off.

Whether or not you think that matters is down to personal opinion, but at least now you can make an informed opinion.

Who's missing the point? The people who believe everything they read or the people who accept the fact he has left because he was always going to leave.

Look at last season. If you were Hume would YOU want to stay at this club?

However and I will still slag Dickov off more because I class his situation as worse but why did Hume come out with that statement appologising for the relegation and want to be part of the team getting us back up? In some ways this is even worse than what Dickov did! Birch asked Dickov - Fair enough he could have said "I'm not sure what i'm doing we will have to see what happens" but he was caught off guard and cornered if you like, I'm sure Hume wasn't made a statement on the OS.

Oh well. Fuk him, and fuk anyone else who doesn't want to be at this club. It obviously didn't matter last year when they were picking up there Championship wages.

Something that is not quite right about this is that he may have took a wage cut to play at a higher level?

Im sure we could offer a lot higher to him than Barnsley could looking at their squad.

What is up with that. Why didn't he go to Sheff Utd or Preston. I don't no how they could afford to beat all of those clubs wages wise.

I can understand leaving for a better club to further your career - but this move is ****ed. I'm not surprised he's gone - but I'm annoyed at the bullshit before he left and I'm annoyed he sold out on his promises for a pissy club like Barnsley.

I'm sure your post was irony, but none of us know the situation. Just as equal a scenario is a sizeable bid was received from Barnsley and Leicester told Hume they wanted him to go, chasing the money to make up for lost income brought on by relegation.

We may have been in for him in January but no way recently unless he was a back-up plan. We don't really need strikers and we have had other irons in the fire in that department.
