I'm sure your post was irony, but none of us know the situation. Just as equal a scenario is a sizeable bid was received from Barnsley and Leicester told Hume they wanted him to go, chasing the money to make up for lost income brought on by relegation.

He didn't want to play in League One, actually.

Only Hoos' and Mandaric are saying anything about the departures.

If the player wants to go theres not much the club can do.

I can understand leaving for a better club to further your career - but this move is ****ed. I'm not surprised he's gone - but I'm annoyed at the bullshit before he left and I'm annoyed he sold out on his promises for a pissy club like Barnsley.

What happened to you questioning yourself to see how well you were doing as a chairman?

If you have not come up with the answer after supposeably spending more than any other chairman but finishing worse that Martin George, Tom Shipman, Peter Taylor John Elsom, Rodney Walker, David Pleat and any other Wan ker to set foot into Leicester City Football Club, by plunging us into Division 3 for the first time in 124 attempts.

The only bloke you ever did any good with was Harry Redknapp and you made him quit and begged him to come back after your mistake with Vellimir Zaiic (spelling?)

Very disappointed at the reaction of most of you, having a go at Barnsley.

He probably wanted championship football and picked a club where he will get a regular game unlike the blunts if he had gone there.

Hope you come back up next year.

Not angry at Barnsley or Hume, I personally think he could move to a genuine Promotion challenging club unlike you guys, You have got a great player, really committed 100%, so sad to see him go, Best of luck Humey :thumbup:

Look where he's gone and it tells you everything. He was only a favourite because hs worked hard and seemed the best of a very very poor bunch. A succession of managers didn't know where to play him because fact is 20 goals are beyond him and boy do we need someone to get 20 next year. We need a flukey goal hanger that scores off his knee elbow or arse as well as his feet. :scarf:

Exactly!! Get over it!!

He will never get you 20 goals a season and his workrate made him look better than he was, very overated.

We also got a great price for him and have plenty of Strikers at the club, we also have a perfect replacement for Stearman in Chambers with Lee Cox as back up so if there's anything to moan about its the sale of McAuley when we have Kisnorbo out long term.

Disappointed to see our best striker leave, even if he was never as consistent or prolific as we needed him to be.

With due respect to Barnsley, it's likely that Hume will be in for yet ANOTHER relegation battle next season.

Hopefully at least some of the money from transfer sales will be invested in young and hungry prospects who will be capable of leading us not just to one promotion, but two!

Cos let's face it, neither Hume nor Stearman were ever going to take the Premier League by storm..

I said a while ago that comments Hume made to some of my mates meant I'd lost respect for Hume but Knowitall said he'd spoken to him a few times and he 'respected the fans' and was looking forward to putting things right next season! :crylaugh:

The sooner people realise that the majority of the squad that we had last season don't care about Leicester City Football Club the better. The coming season is looking like one for the youngsters more and more and I really don't think that's going to be a bad thing for this club.

Did ANY of them? Maybe the local lads and Kisnorbo but that's all.

The coming season is looking like one for the youngsters more and more and I really don't think that's going to be a bad thing for this club.

...especially if the youngsters play with the heart and flair they showed in the Academy side.. :thumbup:

There's no irony in my post.

The fee was £1.2million - which ought to be eminently rejectable by Mandaric is he wanted to be serious about 'doing everything possible to achieve promotion'.

Which means Hume wanted to jump ship in favour of a shit Championship side.

So, I still hope he sucks cocks in hell...and one day soon I hope Mandaric joins him.

Maybe even more important is that they'll play with confidence. Not saying We'll have a team of only Academy products but it should give some of them a much greater opportunity to show what they can do. I hope they can take it.

what on earth is mad milan doing now? selling two of the best players of last season - 1.2 mill for Hume, whilst we paid 2.1? for DJ makes absolutely no sense? is milan trying to wreck the club or what?

12 Months ago he said "you can trust me"...to do what? :frusty:
