Hume Gone - Confirmed

That really brings it home how far we've sunk, our top striker wanting to go to a club like Barnslaaaaagh FFS!

couldnt agree more - given the chances I reckon Hume was the best finisher at the club (I know that aint saying much) - now if we had sold fookin Howard to Barnsley I'd have been happy - but not Hume

I am very disappointed that Hume has gone. However what is the club supposed to do when a player wants to leave?

£1.2million is a good deal for both parties.

This club needs rebuilding and Im hoping that this transfer money will go someway to doing so.

Well if he had scored that fucking penalty against Sheff Weds then he wouldn't have had to leave. :P

Not surprised he's left, but surprised he's gone to Barnsley!

He was alright but can be replaced.

When/if he comes back to the Walkers, can really see our announcer saying some shit like...

And please welcome back, Iainnnnnnn Hummmmmmmeeeee.

Half our twats will cheer him as well.

Bledy hell thats all we need now! What a dick! It was the strikers and midfields fault in the first place we are relegated! So he has just fooked off!

My word, you are bitter little foxes aren't you? OK, so Barnsley are only a Championship side and should not be buying players from the once mighty Leicester City. Who are a League 1 side. But we have. We also have an owner who I would trust rather more than those of certain other clubs (if you know what I mean). I might also add that, despite the result, Leicester were the worst side we saw at Oakwell last season, by some margin.

Pity you lot can't pull the administration stunt again. Who knows, perhaps you might!

Do you live in Barnsley?

I for one dont mind rival fans browsing and participating in the forum chat.

However you have taken it way too far with you first post.

Mods ban this class A cock.

Epitomised our team - Good in parts but average in others and sometimes downright awful.

If he didn't want to be here, great, bugger off, i'm only interested in people who want to be at this club and wear the shirt with pride.

Expect more wasters to pass through the Walkers exit gates without the bottle to amend their underperformances last season, they feel nothing for this club.

I won't cheer Hume when/if he comes back, the man lied to us, I would have had more respect for the man if he'd stood up and said 'I may be here or I may not, we shall see' instead of all this 'I'm staying' bollocks.

I didn't actually believe it when i got told he had moved after his "apology" for us going down.

but what a pr*ck for saying he will come back and take the club back up thats whats dissapointed me .

but funk it let him go, we got 1.2 mill to spend

I agree. I have no problem with players wanting to move to different clubs to better themselves, improve their quality of life etc.

Its the ones that come out a say they are staying and then **** off.

Thank you for joining to tell us that and welcome to the forum.

Take a step back though and ask yourself in all honesty, which club would you expect to be doing better in three years time. We have been shite for too long now and you had your 15 minutes of fame last season in the cup.

Look at your ground. Look at your support. Look at your city. Look at your mother.

There's not an ounce of attractiveness in any of them.

But thanks for dropping in.

I used to like Barnsley. Guaranteed 3 points. How shit we were.

Find it hard to believe he's gone to Barnsley. Nice people if a little fat. And that town centre? The pits.

Anyway, one last time: Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuume!

He doesn't know any different, does he?

Yeah he does, I said Shit Support. We had one of the best supports in the Country last season.

Avg Attendance : 11,452

*waits for relegation jab...*

I have visited your fair city a few times and feel reasonably happy I don't live there (although perhaps I only saw the rough bit - lol). Not sure who I expect to be doing better in 3 years time to be honest. All I can say is that I hope you enjoy League 1 more than I did. Alehouse doesn't begin to describe it. Quite like our ground. Newly re-developed (within last 15 years) except for the old west stand which has certain planning issues associated with it. My mother is fine, thanks. Not sure what she has to do with any of this though!
