Some good information, just a little hard to read.

On here from before somewhere. On a side note, I'm not sure if I read that Oldham have only 3 stands this year...not sure on how that will impact on away fans. I might have mis-heard though.

You're probably better off screenshotting the page you got that from and uploading the image.

I had a go at formatting it, but gave up, sorry.

I was working on something along these lines. All that's missing that I was going to include was the nearest train station.

Good effort.

I don't suppose it matters, most of the information is on the Football Ground Guide anyway.

I was curious to know the exact distances from the train station to the grounds, as often I have seen things like "you don't want to take the train there, it's a good 45 minute walk to the ground from there" only to find it's 20 minutes!!

Alright, gave it a good brooming & added colours to make it more eye-friendly.

Bring on Carlisle I say.

Thanks for that information by the way.

Terraces.

Carlisle on a lovely cold December afternoon, can't wait. It would be hell if it was on a week night.

Is that Colchester's new or old stadium?

10000? That all? Why build a new stadium...?

Because their old one wasn't that big, they haven't got an amazing financial backer. They dont have that many fans, their old stadium was great but was waring away with limited facilities. Only 2 toilets in the away end.

I think they were coming to the end of their 3 year dispensation for terracing. When a team moves up to the Championship with an old ground, they're allowed three years to remove the terracing. I don't think the Layer Road away end had the facilities to house seats.

It was wearing a little as well so I can see why they decided to build a new ground. If their fan base increased due to success on the pitch, Layer Road couldn't be expanded so it makes sense to build a new ground.

It is a shame they are moving. I enjoyed my trip last season, under the floodlights, good atmosphere and even a firework landed on the pitch :D

Aye it is a shame, Layer Road had a lot of character. That's one less ground with terracing.

I remember when the firework landed on the pitch, it looked as though one of the stands was on fire. :giggle:

Wasn't there a goalmouth scramble at the time? I remember it nearly hit their keeper on the head. You are right, Layer Road did have a lot of character, but the less said about the toilets the better.

:giggle: You had to wait for people to stop peeing just to get out. I bet Jobber had a bit of trouble.

At least they had a roof on them. I swear there wasn't a roof at Southend.

What season are we talking here? 07/08? I don't remember a firework

Southend had a toilet last time I visited

I'm not sure whether it was a firework but something caused their stand to appear on fire. :dunno:
