act smiley Posted 3 July 2008 Posted 3 July 2008 I didn't mean to be biased against Spurs Just Berbatov is very similar to Steve Howard, 10 crap games where he does nothing, strolls around as if he is god and then next game he will score 3/4 goals. My point was that the media love anyone who plays for Spurs to an absurd degree, not that you were against them. While Berbatov is rather dependent on service and lacks consistency, in my opinion he's a very good player and you're right in that the media overhypes him to levels where people see him on the same level as the likes of Fernando Torres, which he isn't but he's certainly at the top end of non-big-4 strikers in the premiership.

Yeah I would agree that he is a very good prospect, but he needs to show more end product. Tricks are all well and good but no penetration gets you nowhere. Anderson has had a better season imo.

Yeah I agree on many times last season he would play for himself, often shooting from way to far out and doing pointless tricks etc. I got the impression that Sir Alex was frustrated with this side of his game. Gotta agree with Anderson having the better season.

Nani, is certainly at the right club to develop, he needs to add a bit more to his game to become a great footballer.
