Matt Posted 8 July 2008 Posted 8 July 2008 :crylaugh: Crystal Palace youngster reveals Fulham move to millions on Facebook page.A professional footballer nicknamed “Motor Mouth” by friends has revealed he plans to leave his club Crystal Palace for Fulham on his Facebook page. Ashley-Paul Robinson, 19, posted a message on the social networking site saying he was having a trial with the Premiership side - despite playing for its London rival for the past five years. But instead of simply keeping his 198 Facebook friends updated, Robinson managed to inform the site’s 2.7 million London network members - potentially including his employers and disappointed Palace fans. On Saturday, the winger posted a message reading: “Ashley-Paul is goin fulham on Monday. If I pull dis off im on dis ting!!!” The following day, he added: “Ashley-Paul is off to Bath With Fulham. Fingers Crossed.” After news of the move spread, he posed a sheepish new message on Monday, saying: “Ashley-Paul has been very naughty !” Robinson has been with Championship side Palace since he was a 14-year-old academy player and was told in April by team manager Neil Warnock that he would be offered a new contract. If the Fulham deal comes off, Palace would be due a substantial fee for the player as he is under 23 years old. A Crystal Palace source said: “It’s pretty embarrassing for the club that this guy is telling the world he’s looking to leave the club. “Perhaps someone should tell him to be a bit more private about what he’s putting on the internet.” Good job Milan didn't see Sheehans message's on Facebook - Mind you he's gone now anyway.
