I agree with what I think HF's sentiments are which are that I play for the fun - fairly casual.

If it's getting to the point where it's over subscribed, I certainly don't mind standing aside.

For me, it's really an EXCUSE to get up to Leicester and see a lot of you guys, especially as I didn't seem to bother with much of LCFC's football next season.

I think what I'll do is play in the fairly casual O21s v U21s because everyone can get a game - but I won't bother putting my name down for other events.

I hope you can come to a fair arrangement whereby everyone is happy though.

Good luck.

I got one thing to say:

This is why I play!!

I didn't realise that I'd actually taken my name off the list to be honest. As far as I am aware my post said that I'll happily remove my name from the ever growing list. i.e if it made things easier.

Maybe one of the criteria should have been to give priority to those with fewest years left to play football, some of you guys have got 20 years to get a game in. Sadly with age expectancy in the North, that's not the case for me.

I actually played in the three games that I have attended because it was a bloody good laugh and there are some top notch people around.

It seems to have got too serious now and I'm not sure if it's much fun for the people who are expected to sort it all out - some people are going to be mighty upset.

The games themselves, are still as good laugh, it's just sorting the squads out.

You want to play in the Forest I should think all will be good anyway, we've got 25 at the minute and that will more than likely drop off.

It seems to me that the root cause of all this trouble is that people say they will turn up and then sometimes don't. That's just bad.

Bad, bad, bad. Superbad.

Anyway, the upshot of my argument is... it doesn't matter who says they will turn up... it matters who actually turns up.

Hence, we should make people sign a contract stating that they will turn up come rain or shine... and those that fail to show when signing up will forfeit their right to play in the following three matches. A sort of automatic ban for a seriously dirty tackle, but for a much more heinous crime.

There should be a sort of standby list, too... should someone need to pull out before the day of the game, people could be drafted from the standby list if they're still interested.

11 am....

Actually I'm off work tomorrow.

So Maybe when I get up lol

Or you could just set the 'poll close' time to 11am. :dunno:

If the one that's currently winning, wins, It'll be a bit like having away priority at City games.

Go the most - Get first chance.

Not sure how you work these things, but if the players have to pay to play...just require payment before the day

(paypal whatever)

if you aint paid...you aint playing...kinda makes people responsible for themselves

just a thought :D
