Floating Fox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Lame times there. wtf is lame about that? The fact you have to get up before 11? Maybe you should get off your arse an invent a faster transport method?
C-man Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 How far to the ground is it? Not far, you can see when you're on the train. I'd be tempted to get the 11.36 - more time, infact some time, in the pub!
Floating Fox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Anyone going on Fox Travel? Enter Leicester Lass

lildave3 Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 wtf is lame about that? The fact you have to get up before 11? Maybe you should get off your arse an invent a faster transport method? The fact we'll be in Stockport for hours with nothing to do?
Leicester Lass Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Enter Leicester Lass Oi. I've got myself a lift for this (I think)
Simi Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 The fact we'll be in Stockport for hours with nothing to do? We'll get to Stockport just before 2pm?
C-man Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 The fact we'll be in Stockport for hours with nothing to do? You must have read the times like I did the first time. The 11.36 train gets there at 13.53 and 12.05 gets there at 14.25. So the first one is pretty much perfect tbh!
Floating Fox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 We'll get to Stockport just before 2pm? What he said. Wake up dave you muppet.
lildave3 Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 I thought half an hour was a bit quick to get there.
Floating Fox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 I thought half an hour was a bit quick to get there.

syston_fox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Is this the train? Have you tried splitting the journey? Yup. Leicester to Stockport via Nottingham
Asha Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Yup. Leicester to Stockport via Nottingham Last Sunday one way Notts-Leicester was almost 9 quid for me. One way.
syston_fox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Last Sunday one way Notts-Leicester was almost 9 quid for me. One way. 1 - that was last week 2 - im assuming that was a kiddy ticket ... some of us can't get away with that
Asha Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 1 - that was last week2 - im assuming that was a kiddy ticket ... some of us can't get away with that I'm saying that the fact it was 9 quid was very high considering it was only 25 minutes. And an adult ticket as well
syston_fox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 I'm saying that the fact it was 9 quid was very high considering it was only 25 minutes. And an adult ticket as well Ah got ya. I thought that you meant you looked last week and it was 9 quid to stockport.
RowlattsFox Posted 3 August 2008 Posted 3 August 2008 Yup. Leicester to Stockport via Nottingham I'm going the same route, and the price I've got is £22.30, not £28. Cheap Day Return, Leicester to Nottingham - £8 Cheap Day Return, Nottingham to Stockport - £14.30 I'm no expert on trains but I think I've done it right, not booked them yet though, seeing if I get a match ticket first.
