Simi Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 What are the chances of this extra 800 Nobody knows at the moment mate, we'll have to hold on and find out. But I will say that seeing the same question asked every 5 minutes is going to get annoying. Any ticket updates that are heard or read about I will add to the first post and the topic title.
bigneville Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Average Attendance last year (League Two) - 5642 They only sold 9,000 for the play-off semi final against Wycombe at home. So they couldnt sell out the home allocation for that.

Providing I get a ticket, & from what I read from SUAS, we should be getting the same train there. Be nice to meet some of you lot off here
syston_fox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 I sent an email at 11am so should be ok. 600....are there even 600 people on priority 1? You had any word back from them yet? I asked them to e-mail me back once the order had been processed but had anything!
Maybes Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 You had any word back from them yet? I asked them to e-mail me back once the order had been processed but had anything! Nope. Be patient my friend.
Floating Fox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Highly doubt we'll get the extra 800. Stocky won't get anything from it & they'll be able to sell out.
Daggers Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Can you ask how many has been sold Daggers? Given up. I'll try again later. I wasn't going to be going but a certain someone who shall remain nameless...we'll call her oh, err, let's call her Soontobe Exwife#1 cocked up a vital part of the planning for next week. If I get a ticket I get a ticket, as I wasn't planning on going it's no big thing.

Tilley Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 ATTENTION - TICKET UPDATEI e-mailed the ticket office saying there was confusion etc, got this reply. Thankyou.
Floating Fox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 I'm not so sure mate. Hmmm Looking at it, it'll be touch and go. I'd say they'd easily get 8000 fans in, opening season, new league, big club to play against n' all. At least theres a glimmer for you though..
Simi Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 ATTENTION - TICKET UPDATE I e-mailed the ticket office saying there was confusion etc, got this reply. Dear Simon,Thank you for your email. Away tickets will be sold in the normal way in priority with 1 being today, priority 2 tomorrow and priority 3 on Wednesday, members on Thursday and general sale on Friday subject to availability. The priority system will be adhered to for the coming season as tickets may be in short supply for a lot of the matches. Anyone calling up on a day outside their priority day will not be sold tickets. As for Stockport on August 16th tickets are selling very well but there should be enough tickets to go round for this particular game as we have an initial allocation of 1300 but can have more if we need them. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us again. Kind Regards Jim Ticket Office
Floating Fox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Strange. You'd think that they'd sell the tickets in the covered stand first? To be fair, I'd prefer to be in there as well.
Daggers Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Tickets for thems that want them then, I can't see more than 1300 wanting to go to Stockport.
Simi Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Tickets for thems that want them then, I can't see more than 1300 wanting to go to Stockport. I can see there being a lot of people like this... "If we beat Dons 12-0 I'm going to want to be at Stockport".
Daggers Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 I can see there being a lot of people like this..."If we beat Dons 12-0 I'm going to want to be at Stockport". I hate people who think small - 12-0? Pah.
syston_fox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 God I love that Cheddo. I wanna know how he got a reply so quickly
Tilley Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 I wanna know how he got a reply so quickly I got a reply & a phone called in about twenty minutes. They only have on record 6 games & need stubs from Barnsley & Cardiff to put me to Priority 2
Staf Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Oh aye...details?I gather people passing their stubs around is one method of gaining priority 1. I just went and got mine first time i have been as priority one so i took all my stubs just incase and in the end it was good jod i did because there was nothing on there database about me being priority 1 although i had a priority 1 card. She took all my stubs and signed the back of them so maybe something is going on. Anyway i got mine £5
Maybes Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Just got a reply from my 11 am email Stockport Tickets secured, and student price.
Daggers Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 They phoned me back this afternoon, they love me...there again, who doesn't?
bigneville Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Got an email from the club. They said they fully expect the tickets to last until Friday after today's sales. So i think the estimate of 600 may be a little over the top.
