Front page in The Observer today. Police dossier concerning corruption in football has been handed into the Crown Prosecution Service, Mandaric is named, allegedly.

Up to the CPS now to decide if it is worth talking forward.

Others "named" include Harry Redknapp, Karen Brady, Peter Storie et al.

I can't see anything coming of this, he's probably just helping out in the inquiry like he said.

But obviously that's hard to grasp.

I'm in two minds. If its a way of getting him out the club, I'm kind of for it, As show in the case of Luton we could be a much, much worse situation, and when Milan came here I thought it was the best thing that could happen to this club, I was wrong, and am question whether Milan should still be here or not, Not everything has been Milan's fault you cannot blame every single thing on Milan but he has to take a majority of the blame.

What would happen if he was found guilty? Frozen assets? Assets lost? Business/Company's lost?

Would Leicester City Football Club be involved/be left in the shit picking up the pieces and have a problem if Milan was found guilty is my main concern. Its nothing to do with Leicester City Football Club really, but the fact Milan is the owner and not matter how big or small amount money he is putting into the club may leave us with a problem :dunno:

Difficult to know what might come of this. The initial consideration will be in terms of the actual evidence presented by the Police. If the CPS thinks it is valid and plausible the next issue will be their desire to fight a case. Likely to be costly with no easy outcomes. If they view this to be an issue with wider ramifciations, they might go for it, otherwise I expect them to let sleeping dogs lie and let The Premier League and the Football League "toughen up" their rules.

Implications for us would be if Mandy was to be found guilty of something. I could imagine a punitive action being a fine or some such. The ultimate sanction would be a debarring from involvement with a club. This would clearly open up a can of worms.

Like I said, watch this space.

Unless they banned him from owning a football club, something which they most likely don't have the balls for, then we're only screwed if his dodgy dealings include the likes of Ferreira, Djeziri, Kaebi, Tunchev etc rather than just Portsmouth stuff. :ermm:

I haven't done corporate/company law, but if found guilty, I think you are disqualified from either owning a company or being a director for 7 years, but like I say, I'm not too sure.

I forgot about the criminal side of things.

While the FA & FL might not have the balls to do anything, that doesn't help if the courts stop him eh :(

You cannot form or be involved with a new company, and cannot act as a director, but it says nothing about owning.

The statutory period is a minimum of 2yrs up to a maximum of 15yrs. It's also an order of the court, so there would be discretion as to whether the order is granted, I would imagine.

Perhaps I should be doing this module instead of Immigration and Refugee law!!

Although this module might come in handy should we seek to sign players outside of the EU without the right to remain. The Iraqui right back anyone?

Would he be OK to stay on as a non-executive chairman? That might be an option if, of course, anything comes of it.

Depends if the league sanctions board meetings being held in Wormwood Scrubs..

i would guess if the alegations (which i have not read) are true the sanctions would be placed on milan and the penalties imposed on pompy....unless he is guilty of the corruptions while in charge here at leicester??

I find this line of thinking truly scary. If Milan is forced out we could be the next Luton.

We were looking down the barrel of a gun at going back into administration if Milan had not come along. Quite why you think Milan being forced to sell the club as part of a 'Fire Sale' after a criminal conviction would be good for the club is utterly incomprehensible, unless you are one of the dwindling band of people who still thinks there is another multi-nillionaire waiting in the wings to take us over. Please wake up and smell the coffee - there isn't.

I've heard from somebody that Martin Allen has been involved somewhere along the line aswell...

Also, if Mandaric was to get arrested, he would go to America and let his son take over Leicester

Must admit it makes me slightly uneasy to see every transfer we do whether in or out shown as undisclosed fees at our request!!

I had rto do related issues in my exam for my job.

I seem to remember 7 years disqualification being relevant, however, very easy to overcome.

I , along with most of the population (regardless of your footballing opinions) would happily take half a mil a year to be Milan's voice!

Yes Sir Mr Manadaric! Akinbiyi bid is on the table for £7.2 million...(undisclosed...)

I've heard the allegations also involve duck-fucking, OAP bear-baiting and the fixing of Britain's Got Talent.

The CPS has said they are going to make sure all those found guilty are sent to the moon.

It must all be true because someone who knows my Dad down the pub said...consequently I am going to rant about how it will improve/destroy the club until I froth at the mouth and fall over backwards.

Arrrrrrrgh! :pirate:

Nod and a wink to a blind Python.

Are you a complete dullard?

He OWNS the club.

I'm sorry, I'm not a lawyer, or ever studied law (Like many on here I guess) but in my simple "dullard" thinking a possibility would be Milan would have all asset's frozen and company's/ownerships seized = Forcing him out the club/Voiding his ownership...Then we have the problem of the question where do we go next, e.t.c, and it'd be a big problem. Catch 22 really. As I said its only my simple thinking.

He would be a good leader of our club.

No bids for Maybury? Stick him on Ebay.
