Ultra Posted 24 July 2008 Posted 24 July 2008 Not so much. I mean, fair point Gradel had a decent game, but to me he looked a little clumsy on the ball and unsure of himself at times. It may have been that I expected too much of him because of how he'd been built up, but I was slightly underwhelmed by him on the whole yesterday. I felt Lloyd Dyer (or is it Ashley Chambers?? ) was our MoTM. The guy seems like he's got a non-stop engine, and he was shifting some knots all over the park yesterday. I liked the guy, direct and gets at defenders. Deserved his goal and took it well where DJ would have ****ed it up. Hopefully he can be consistent and gets better as the season progresses. Apart from his goal, Dyer had a quiet game, particularly because the midfielders gave him little service. Gradel on the other hand made a number of good runs and put over a number of quality crosses. Shame the £3.5m strike duo couldn't make more of them.
