Nath Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Quality day. Alot of positives came from today i thought. Players look like they enjoyed playing for leicester, and there seemed to be some team spirit floating around. The 2 lads running on the pitch added some good humour. Henderson liked it anyway.

I couldnt go today, was he that bad? Maybe thats the reason behind the signing of Hobbs, perhaps its gonna be him and Tunchev. My worry is though that Tucnchev hasnt had any football and i cant see him starting against MK Dons because of it unless he gets 2 x 90mins in against Brum and Palace.
Maybes Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 What a lovely day in the sun this was. Albe-it quite hungover, I managed to enjoy it. Pleasing to see the team starting to gel abit more although the marking for their goal was terrible. Jack Hobbs looks to be the business he was a rock at centre half, unlike Morrison who got done very easily. Gilbert looks alot better than Chambers at right back, very cool and calm on the ball whereas chambers always looks quite panic-ey. Nicky Adams scored two superb goals, one being a top notch header and the other a lovely strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the area. Oakley and Weso were steady in the middle and Kishishev did well after coming on. Gradel again another good display on the right wing. Lloyd didnt really see much of the ball. Matty Fryatt made some nice neat runs actually managing to master the offside trap as did Campbell and both scored well taken goals although DJ's was better. Howard....hhhmmmm, he was ok. Held the ball up and brought others into play. Barry Hayles....didnt really do alot. Bert gets a mention aswell, came out of my car all sticky as he managed to drop his twister lolly on himself and his Dr. Pepper fizzed up all over him Oh and the streakers, pure comedy. Hendo loved it!!
