Samilktray Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 The manager is still trying out different XI's, surely the result is irrelevant? Pre-season is all about trying new things out and discovering our best team. As long as we score more than the opposition it doesn't matter if we concede a few. If we stay unbeaten throughout Pre-Season that would be a huge morale boost. I'd pretty much agree. I was only saying that because a lot of people seem overly bothered about us conceding in pre season.
Cat Burger Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 We won't get much of a morale boost if we keep conceding sloppy goals to pissant teams.

Yeah I know what you mean mate, I was agreeing with you. Obviously it would be nice to get a few clean sheets, but we can work on it. We're still bedding in new players, it's going to take time.

Bryn Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 It appears it's fairly justified that Gradel can't get in the team.
SamL Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 3-1.Adams is God! It's a bit early to be saying that isn't it? I've been impressed with him so far. I didn't think he played on the wing until pre-season started.
mb2251 Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Stringer's struggling "3-0 to City, that restores the 2 goal lead"
mmarkie Posted 26 July 2008 Author Posted 26 July 2008 3-1. Adams is God! [/quote/] How did all the goals go in as i went out and have only just got back?
AoWW Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 "3-0 to City, that restores the 2 goal lead" Hmm, I chuckled!
SamL Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 "3-0 to City, that restores the 2 goal lead" I didn't think there could be anyone worse than Barber, obviously I was wrong.

I didn't think he played on the wing until pre-season started. Neither did I. Thought he played in the middle but had versatility. It's never to early to put players on a pedestal.
foxes-are-blue Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 only just turned on, anything said why Tunchev not in squad?
SamL Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 How did all the goals go in as i went out and have only just got back? Fryatt - Leicester (0-1) Adams - Leicester (0-2) ? - Kettering (1-2) Adams - Leicester (1-3)

SamL Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 Neither did I. Thought he played in the middle but had versatility. It's never to early to put players on a pedestal. It's always a good thing to have a little versatility in the team. I wouldn't mind seeing Adams down the middle and Gradel on the wing. I'm not sure if they could play in the same team though?
MikeyT Posted 26 July 2008 Posted 26 July 2008 only just turned on, anything said why Tunchev not in squad? Good point! Dont actually know! Anyone?
