Matt Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 We can now crown the best caller on the phone in, ever. I have been noticing throughout pre-season and in our friendlies we have heard nothing about Iain Hume, I was just wondering where is he? Is he injured? Not in the plans? Gone? :crylaugh: Same caller; Well there is no point in asking Steve Howard to do a Rooney job or Ronaldo job Please, Is he taking the piss?!
Narborough Bod Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Has Hume gone then? and who was the tool going on about 7 defenders !!
Narborough Bod Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 What sort of things did they say on the Phone-In? Because we have started scoring goals, but conceding too, people (very thick ones at that) were moaning about the defence. And some bloke said we had bought in 7 defenders and had no strike force to score goals...but some of them might have been attacking defenders...I almost slit my wrists after a couple of minutes of his drivvle.
Bryn Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 I take it they don't screen their callers for what they're going to say before they ring up then? Someone should ring up and call them all c*nts or something.

That is a challenge for you next week, or ring up and ask if this is the Forest phone in?
Webbo Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Somebody asked the Birch if Savage was coming on loan and he wouldn't deny it.
Moreton Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Somebody asked the Birch if Savage was coming on loan and he wouldn't deny it. Why would the Birch know? As far as i'm aware he just leads the half time entertainment at home games..
Fez of Mahrez Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Village idiot + Football topic + Leicester accent = Braindeath.
Babylon Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Somebody asked the Birch if Savage was coming on loan and he wouldn't deny it. what the new derby captain?
Simi Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 what the new derby captain? He's done at Derby according to my mate.
FilboFox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 O_o People need to stop complaining... just wait and see... be optimistic!
BoneHead. Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Somebody asked the Birch if Savage was coming on loan and he wouldn't deny it. Bit of excitement...love it
FilboFox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 What exactly does the Birch do? He can't be in the know about these types of things really can he? That said, I did see Savage at the club for a game last year... he clearly still loves the club and fans so I bet he'd jump at the chance to come back if he isn't getting any games at Derby... would he be good for the club now though?

You write the new signing articles for the OS and I claim my £5.
Babylon Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 He's done at Derby according to my mate. Probably right, thought I saw on tv he was made their new captain... I was wrong, it was about him and Jewell having a barney.
FilboFox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 You write the new signing articles for the OS and I claim my £5. Eh?
FilboFox Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Oh I see, you are implying that he doesn't love the club... well, why else would he still be coming to watch us if he didn't? Suppose it could have been some function but as a Derby player, surely coming to watch Leicester is a bit of a no-no?

I dont really care if he loves the club, He should take his long blonde locks elsewhere. (as a player that is, not coming to watch)
Guest Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Special sockets were put in the home changing rooms at Savage's request, and the tosser didn't stay to use the buggers. It's only fair he comes back and makes use of them. There's enough for him to plug in his hairdryer and straighteners, so there is no excuse.

Robbie Savage doesn't love anything except himself, especially not some football club he used to play for. And forgive me if I'm going too far but it's probably people like you that Mandaric is constantly trying to pander to with signings like Dickov and, god forbid, Savage. We've got a decent little team together from watching pre-season. All these mid-30s journeymen can do one.

Spiritwalker Posted 4 August 2008 Posted 4 August 2008 Robie Savage- no thanks he was the first out the door when we got relegated. But I'm sure he loves the club.
