Steven Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Does anyone know anything about this lad as he seems to have got some playing time recently?
Father Ted Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Does anyone know anything about this lad as he seems to have got some playing time recently? Right-back. Watched him against Quorn. Played well. Sub against Palace. Possibly back-up right-back now. I think he's an England Youth International...
Hackneyisblue Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Steven Probably being a bit dim but who is that in your avatar?
Father Ted Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 StevenProbably being a bit dim but who is that in your avatar? A wrestler I think...
BoneHead. Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Plays for England U19's and looks to have finally got some sort of chance at the First team. Was supposed to go bowling with him and his girlfriend on Sunday but due to him playing at Palace we had to cancel...As you can see hes very selfish
Tevez Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 I'll be having a cheeky punt on him for last g/s Sat.
NewquayFox Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 I think the lady in Stevens pic lives just off Mere Road,i`m sure my Brother built that wall behind her in the back yard. ;0)

Thracian Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Does anyone know anything about this lad as he seems to have got some playing time recently? Skillful raiding right back. He not only gets himself right down to the goalline on occasions but seems capable of putting in a clever and accurate final ball as well. He's clearly got stamina because he maintain the impetus of an attacking full-back throughout his stint against Quorn. On that occasion the defence were pretty ropey and he was the only member of the back four to escape serious criticism. It will be a job to keep track of his progress with the reserves being "in camera" this season although he might still qualify for the Academy side where he's been a familiar face for a while.

BoneHead. Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 Palace was Saturday!!! Sherlock has entered the thread. Stayed in London over night mate therefore would have been pushing it to get back for bowling, hence the decision to cancel.
consty Posted 5 August 2008 Posted 5 August 2008 StevenProbably being a bit dim but who is that in your avatar? ...there was me thinking it was gary lineker (see avatar). above posts have put me straight. I'd go for the Mere Rd theory.
Steven Posted 6 August 2008 Author Posted 6 August 2008 StevenProbably being a bit dim but who is that in your avatar? Andrea Parker
clazkel Posted 6 August 2008 Posted 6 August 2008 He played against Quorn, first time i saw him play and he stood out along with Sappleton and Porter. A great prospect!
BoneHead. Posted 6 August 2008 Posted 6 August 2008 Spoke to him early, apparently Pearson rates him so we could be seeing alot of him this season
Steven Posted 15 August 2008 Author Posted 15 August 2008 Spoke to him early, apparently Pearson rates him so we could be seeing alot of him this season At Left Back?
The Reverend Posted 15 August 2008 Posted 15 August 2008 Spoke to him early, apparently Pearson rates him so we could be seeing alot of him this season What, if Gilbert gets injured?
BoneHead. Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 At Left Back? Im presume he means RB considering thats the position he plays every week for the U18's, but i guess LB is a possibiltiy with the Mattock situation What, if Gilbert gets injured? Injury or competition for places, obviously Gilbert will get in every day of the week over O'Neill but if O'Neills progress means it keeps Gilbert on his toes then surely we get the benefits.
Nugent Posted 16 August 2008 Posted 16 August 2008 He went to my school before leaving a couple of years ago.

Thracian Posted 19 August 2008 Posted 19 August 2008 I would take 2K a week 6 days before my 17th birthday. Let's hope he's soon good enough to get what the others get.
