Matt Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 Bought a pull-over training jacket thing yesterday, looks pretty good, I also noticed the pictures that are on sale, I was looking at them when I went to the Birmingham friendly in the great hall and thought it'd be great to buy one, they have Tags, Elliot and O'Neill, Muzzy, Ian Marshall, e.t.c, all signed. Not overly expensive but not exactly cheap most prices are around £40. TBH I have most of the photos in books, e.t.c, If I could get the blown up professionally I could probably buy a nice frame and get them signed for half the price myself. Just wondering if anyone saw them though they looked lovely!
Austin Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 Yeah I was looking at them after the game .. Some top notch ones in there Love the one of taggs! Shop was fooking mobbed tho haha.
MikeyT Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 I might sound a touch too tight but i want to buy a home shirt but i refuse to pay £40 for one. Think its a total rip off!
Austin Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 I might sound a touch too tight but i want to buy a home shirt but i refuse to pay £40 for one. Think its a total rip off! Completely agree, i've got the money to buy one, just refuse to pay that much for a shirt that'll cost half on that at the end of the season .. 'tis bullsh*te ..
Darkzzz_ Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 I would rather spend the money on the framed photo's than a football shirt.

But if you bought one last season it'd have been £20 per season if you like. As for next season and what I think I have read it being 1 season cycle. Good. I like a new shirt every year! Alot of people don't, alot of people have family with a couple of kids who want a shirt - Very expensive I understand but personally I don't mind a shirt every year. TBH I do slag off the club alot but when it comes to shirts the club just can't win, I forget what about but people were moaning about the fact of a 2 year cycle, people moan if it's a 1 year cycle, lose lose situation for the club.

If the shirt was liked by everyone then no one would complain about the 2 year cycle .. Current shirts are Pish compared to shirts from the past .. Get some decent shirt design and your laughing.

Get some decent shirt design and your laughing. maybe you live in some retro paradise but we have had some terrible terrible kits over the past 20years I mean that fox leisure one with the massive collars you could almost go hang gliding in was a shocker!! that last decent kit imo was the last le Coq shirt that was just plain blue with white trim but the current one is no better or worse than some of our previous efforts
MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 The Shop now has a few really good items in store, especially the leisure wear looks real fine.

I really like this pull-over training jacket i've got, I'm not sure whether its me or what but I do think the sizing is well out. I'm normally a medium to large in most things, with this jacket I bought i've had to go for XXXL Other people trying the jackets on were having the same problem so don't think it is just me.

MC Prussian Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 if only this had that fox logo printed on the chest it would be a beast!! There's a couple of long-sleeved tees with the running fox logo that should come close to your needs.

This is where you turn out to be a 6 footer or something, but the kids sizes are more than generous. I am currently sporting the current home short size age 10-11. With ST discount, that worked out to about £25.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 if only this had that fox logo printed on the chest it would be a beast!! I was looking at those yesterday...I thought how the fook can they charge £21 or whatever it is for a plain black hoodie? I like discrite, but even that's too discrete for me!!

Yeah, but not everybody can boast your size - now I'm being jealous (of the way you got that shirt for so cheap)
Guest Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 Yeah, but not everybody can boast your size - now I'm being jealous (of the way you got that shirt for so cheap) I'm not that small.
lavrentis Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 I like this, I saw someone wearing it on Saturday and I think it was a FoxesTalker
Guest Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 I like this, I saw someone wearing it on Saturday and I think it was a FoxesTalker Mr Kokopops has that top. I like it, but it is too big to have the desired retro effect on me. I am not that small, by the way.
Ozwin Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 I wouldn't wear any of this stuff outside of a football match.
tbf Posted 10 August 2008 Posted 10 August 2008 I'm a 22 year old male, I normally wear a size medium/large at Next etc, but always get XL boys, and it's fine. Saves me enough money to go to one game for free (in effect)!!! EDIT: replica shirt i mean
