davieG Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 From Foxbloggger Here are some numbers to consider...2 - Before Saturday Matty Fryatt had never scored a brace for Leicester. The Fryastarter (as he shall henceforth be known) had netted just 7 times in the last two seasons. The last time he scored twice in a match was in 2005 in Walsall’s 3-1 victory over Rotherham. 6 - The number of years since City had last won an opening day fixture. In the last 4 times City have won on the opening day they’ve been promoted on 3 occasions. The exception, an opening day win against Aston Villa in 97/98. 19.5 – The average age of the Foxes defence at the end of the game. There were tense moments before Fryatt sealed the game, but the fact they held firm deserves credit. 1 – The number of shots Steve Howard attempted. It was off-target.
Babylon Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 Don't forget 1 fan calling for the managers head after 1 game.
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 4 - Average age of the ball boys 0 - Number of decent crosses by everyone's new golden boy...

Corky Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 Guess. Does he insist on 90 minutes of attacking football by any chance?
Scow Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 3 - Stones Fryatt has lost. 2 - Competitive games City are unbeaten in.
Flynny Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 3 - Stones Fryatt has lost. They're not lost, he just lent them to Bruno N'Gotty.

Lester LXXIV Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 Well we scored from one so it wasn't that bad. It didn't look like a cross from where I was sat, more a short pass...
Corky Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 It didn't look like a cross from where I was sat, more a short pass... But we had a winger in the penalty area What is going on?
Jackirius Posted 11 August 2008 Posted 11 August 2008 10- the number i rate the ball boy tripping up and falling on his face near the family stand!
