Kilworthfox Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 This is the 2nd time that the ticket office have enraged me on the same topic. I only speak to the ticket office for 1 reason and that is away tickets. This time Fulham away! I have opened my envelope this morning to discover that they have placed me on row X despite asking to be seated on the back row as I wish to stand and not upset those who wish to sit. The guy on the phone whose name I did not get said he would sort this out for me, which he obviously has not as to my understanding row UU is the back row. Honestly if this was a business where I could go elsewhere for this service I would change immediately as the customer service and listening to my needs is completely missed, by an uninterested supplier. People of the ticket office you have another unsatisfied supporter on your hands, many thanks for your incompetence
AjcW Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 i wouldnt worry mate i have a feeling it might be like the villa game were everyone stood up no matter were they were sitting, and also my experience of away games, no one sits were theyre meant to so you can probably just move to the back if there is a problem, i saw people standing on the steps between the seets at the villa game so i dont think you will have a problem with standing.
Daggers Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 I like the ticket office. They are nice to me and always sort me out tickets. I asked to be put on the back row for all games and they placed me in Row A for Stockport. I think (for the most part) they simply sell them from the reel in order otherwise they'd have piles of loose tickets all over the shop, I don't believe it's computerised like home ticket sales with diagrams of the seats.
Simi Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 ..or like some clubs they sell back row tickets to fans that are less likely to stand to decrease the amount of standing.
Daggers Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 ..or like some clubs they sell back row tickets to fans that are less likely to stand to decrease the amount of standing. Well, if it cuts down on the amount of body-surfing at games then it is only a good thing IMHO.
syston_fox Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 I don't have a major problem with the ticket office but it does frustrate me that you can e-mail them with an order for tickets and it not get processed for about 24 hours.
Kilworthfox Posted 24 August 2008 Author Posted 24 August 2008 Cheers Daggs your truly a help from above Also good point Chedley

From seeing how the ticket machine seems to work for away games it does look mighty difficult to give people individual seats.
General Smuts Posted 24 August 2008 Posted 24 August 2008 I have my own ticket office and his name is Fez. Much more efficient and dare i say remarkably better looking.
