Lovejoy Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 The Dons fans are well and truly p***ed off with their chairman for him coming here. Apparently Winkieman only offered Dyer a one-year deal, and the replacement left-winger they've got is garbage. Good times !

Koke Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Lloyd Dyer is immense. I'm glad that we have him. Bizzare that Franchise didn't want to offer him a better contract.
Babylon Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Perhaps they should bid for Porter! They've still got a few hours. Why would they want two Garbage left wingers?
Corky Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Why would they want two Garbage left wingers? Oh dear. I'm picturing Thrac spitting his Latte all over the keyboard and dropping his croissants He won't be impressed with that comment.
Flynny Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Oh dear. I'm picturing Thrac spitting his Latte all over the keyboard and dropping his croissants Thracian's french now? What?
Thracian Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Why would they want two Garbage left wingers? I've never remembered you being too keen on any of our youngsters to be honest and reckon, if you were ever a manager, you would forever put off playing them til next week and then the week after. Even defence obsessed Kelly didn't get much venom from your tongue. Just like Gradel and King, Porter is a quality player. And after his year out he doesn't need to spend his next year forgetting what a football is for.

I don't go on about playing youngsters you're correct, I also don't really go on about playing any players!! Why? Because it's not my place to pick the team. I don't see them day in day out so how can I say if they are ready or not... I leave all that don't to the manager. Others presume they know better. As for Kelly, where did we end up after his sacking? Considering what he had to work with at the time I don't think he did too badly considering. Would I have wanted him long term? No. I made that clear all along.
Corky Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Girls please . Yep, come on Lisa, Katy, any other females, sort this arguing pair out please.
Ross-Kemp Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I thought Porter was the better player in pre-season, but i'm very happy with Dyer's performances so far

No. I made that clear all along. Kelly was a kop-out merchant, a manager who all but surrendered many a match before we kicked off. I wish I'd not mentioned him because it's like being reminded of a bad movie. He left us with no pride left and with a team that could have been used for propaganda purposes to put people off football for life. I don't even want to talk about him. It's like talking about toothache. It only makes the pain worse.

James. Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Err can we please get the conversation back to Porter.
Corky Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Err can we please get the conversation back to Porter. Yes, I'm fed up of talking about the real subject of the topic. Who does Lloyd Dyer think he is scoring goals? Ryan Giggs?
