Football Manager 2009

I was really struggling with Leicester 15 points from about 25 games first season up, seem to have got it sorted now though.

Still going to be a struggle to keep us up but I went on a little WXWX run and now I'm much closer to the pack I'm chasing. Fingers crossed. Unfortunately then got two unlucky losses and my only three good strikers injured for between 4 and 8 weeks each. Ow.

I dunno :(

My injuries were crap aswell, had like 10 injured at once

Fair enough... like samlcfc said, it does take the piss... once you get one injury... the rest of them all fall like flies!

Yeah, especially being out between 2-5 months each <_<

I had played that game for six months, i'm not too keen on starting from scratch atm surprisingly.

Chin up. I had Oxford in a European place once when a game crashed. Started again with Cambridge and won the Champions League three years on the trot in the end. Those two games took absolutely forever.

Started a game with Swindon. Sitting in 5th place, only lost 1 this season, only let in 3 in the leauge. Dumped QPR and Charlton out the League Cup, I have Liverpool in the next round :(. Beat Bristol Rovers in the JPT and got Orient in next round.

Just about staved off Relegation. Needed a proper streaky winning run, that'll teach me to go 15 games without a win ever again. Signed two new CB's, a new GK, and Roman Pavlychenko for 1M cos Spurs were selling. My two CM's are average but will be genuinely World Class in three seasons time, already far better than when I bought them.

Then I had to do it again cos I accidentally turned my computer off with my foot, erasing my opening day 3-1 victory (Rommy P. brace) and the preceding month in the process. It'd have autosaved had I done two more days.

lol

There are times when being paranoid and meticulously compulsive serve me well.

I save after almost every game.

I'd gladly do that but I'm used to my almost-clockwork-its-so-old computer at uni that takes longer than some orogenies to save. Not so easy to turn off with your fucking foot, though.

Well then...

I was winning at Arsenal from the 4th minute right upto the 87th minute and still lost, Adebayor wasn't playing either.

It's enough to make you want to add yourself as there manager and sell every fooker.

Exactly the same happened against Chelsea in my next game... :crylaugh:

Just beat Hereford 4-2 to relegate them :)

I got Leeds last game of season, and if I win I could hand Millwall the title. Its down to the wire.
