Had that last year, I got well excited and happy...and then I clicked it :P
I remember that happening on FM 08  . Quality touch from SI.

My eyes lit up, I was thinking Champions League in 5 years. :giggle:

I beat QPR again in the leauge cup :chant:

Beat them last season on pens now I beat them 4-0 and they had like Adriano up front and everything lol, Swindon FTW

Cheltenham in L2....won 5 Drew 14 Lost 1.

Rather pecuilar season....unbeatable but can't hit the net.

Where are you in the league with a record like that... mid-table somewhere?

Scrambled though the Champions League group stage only to get Real Madrid in the first knockout round. Ouch.

That said I have a real quality first XI now since January, 6 Prem wins in a row and I've still been sat 3rd from the start of that run to now.

Anyway I've got the first leg of this 3 days after a Sunday fixture, then Arsenal in the League Cup final 3 days after that. Tits.

9th...the last game before I called it a night...we were 1-0 but conceded a last-minute equaliser. Similarly we've missed a peno in the last minute at 0-0. If we won those two, we'd be 3rd. Having a decent run in the FA Cup tho...3rd Round.

Very frustating....esp. now Robson-Kanu is out for 2 months. I'll have to try and sign him on loan again in January.

By the sounds of it you'll need every tiny bit of advantage you can get. Set up your corners and corner takers carefully, ditto free kicks. Also, set both strikers to attempt through balls and forward runs often, it probably doubled the amount of goals I've scored when I noticed it'd gotten unset and the style of play went from pedestrian to attacking almost instantly.

As much as it's frustating. It's my first enjoyable career in ages - some real challenges and I've learnt a few things along the way. I just I need to keep Cheltenham relatively successful, so not to end up in the Conference.

The budget management and attention to tactics has been greatly enhanced on this job. Also having Robert Proesnecki as an assistant has helped the players too.

On 08 i've just beaten Cyprus 2-0 in my first game for San Marino  It was actually pretty comfortable and without that Selva fella'.

San Marino are quite a good micronation because there's the Serie C2 club, over time some decent players can come through if they make it up towards Serie A - I think some people have even won the World Cup with them eventually.

Not even if I was Man City...............:|

Cheers, I brought Marcus Senna instead and I am not sure if it was a mistake.

He is 31 and I want him as a holding midfielder thing as I do not like Javier Mascharano

But he's probably the best DMC on the game.... even if you don't like him, play him for the good of the team :P

It's far easier with Steam and you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Cheltenham - Won 18 Drew 19 Lost 9.

Ended up in the play-offs thanks to a change in tactics and a record of won 6, drew 1 in the last 7 games (powered by a Macheda and Owusu strikeforce).

Vale in semis. 0-2 loss at home and 2-2 draw away despite having enough chances to make a mega comeback.

Ahhh well. Expect pretty much in this first season in L1, next season we'll push on. Need a decent striker for this level - rather our own player than a loanee. And a right winger, so Josh Low can finally leave.

Too late, I sold him to Manchester City yesterday for £20 million.

Installed it on steam but now it comes up with an error message saying failed to set up graphics card. How can i fix this so it works?

ERROR: Cannot run game:Failed to set up graphics system

Fix: Please download the following update from the Microsoft Direct X SDK: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

When downloading this file please use the Firefox browser as some people have encounter difficulties when using Internet Explorer

You should also check that you are running the latest graphics driver, you can do this by visiting the computer manufacturer website, or by visiting the graphics card manufacturing website.

Also if you are running Steam, make sure this is not running when attempting to install
