lildave3 Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 After living like LD3 for the past 10 days (ie, wake up after midday go to bed at gone 5) whilst on holiday, staying up tonight is not a good idea! You say that as if there's something wrong with the LD3 lifestyle.
Fox You Forest Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 Ocho Cinco is Spanish for 85. That's his jersey number. Cheers, I was expecting something really stupid because he is crazy. And he is a mentalist. He isn't the only one in that team most of them seem to be in some kind of trouble.
Bert Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 You say that as if there's something wrong with the LD3 lifestyle. Yes.
placidcasual Posted 8 September 2008 Posted 8 September 2008 He isn't the only one in that team most of them seem to be in some kind of trouble. There's not a lot to do in Cinci.....
Alexikokopops Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 And he is a mentalist. And that of course.
Smiffy Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Alright, enough talk about them shite AFC teams...NFC will dominate this year!! How 'bout them Panthers?!?! San Diego did not look like a possible Championship team!! Granted we won in the last 2 seconds, but we didn't even have Steve Smith available. I think Merriman will regret playing this season. He didn't look healthy yesterday and he'll only get worse.

The Colts were smashed in Indy by the Bears and with Brady out for the season the two most feared AFC teams are becoming a whole lot less scary.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 September 2008 Author Posted 9 September 2008 I don't think he'll ever "make it" although I'd be gladly proven wrong. We've been treading water ever since Culpepper and Moss were broken up. True. I don't know about dominate but there's a good chance an NFC team will win the Superbowl again this year. The Colts were smashed in Indy by the Bears and with Brady out for the season the two most feared AFC teams are becoming a whole lot less scary. Reckon there's every chance a team from the NFC East will win it again this year. That is a strong division. The NFC as a whole definately has more strength and depth thatn the AFC.
Alexikokopops Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 I need to properly settle on a team. Maybe I'll wait until next season. Either way it needs to be different to Fez's so we can argue about it in our future flat in London.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 I need to properly settle on a team. Maybe I'll wait until next season. Either way it needs to be different to Fez's so we can argue about it in our future flat in London. Gotta be the Packers. The Vikings' biggest rivals and their nickname is the Cheeseheads.
C-man Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Gotta be the Packers. The Vikings' biggest rivals and their nickname is the Cheeseheads. And they gave us a good seeing to last night. Suprised at how good Aaron Rodgers was and how little T-Jack has improved.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 And they gave us a good seeing to last night.Suprised at how good Aaron Rodgers was and how little T-Jack has improved. He's just not gonna make it. We're back on TV next weekend against the Colts I think.

After bringing up a map of America on my computer and blindly picking a team, I must say, er, congratulations, you are, er, now an honorary.... ...Atlanta Falcons fan. Sorry.
Alexikokopops Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Actually, I need to support the same team as Fez so he can keep me up to date.
C-man Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 He's just not gonna make it.We're back on TV next weekend against the Colts I think. Yep, I'm well lucky we're on the first 2 weeks 'cos I'm going uni the week after so will probably miss most of our other TV games! Actually, I need to support the same team as Fez so he can keep me up to date. Do it, we'll be UK Vikings Fan Club.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 September 2008 Author Posted 9 September 2008 Do it, we'll be UK Vikings Fan Club. Madness.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 September 2008 Author Posted 9 September 2008 So how did The Giants get on? Beat the Redskins 16 - 7.
Uncle Albert Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Beat the Redskins 16 - 7. Yes, I knew I followed them for a reason. Are the Redskins shit?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 September 2008 Author Posted 9 September 2008 Yes, I knew I followed them for a reason. Are the Redskins shit? Not shit, not great. Type of team you'd expect the Giants to beat.

Minnesota's not an exciting place. And they play in purple. VIkings are pretty cool though. You have to take these things into consideration when choosing a team.
purpleronnie Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I got into the NFL in the early 90's when C4 had a programme on it (little short guy dont remember his name). I decided to support the worst team, that was the bengals. I've been lucky enough to see a few NFL games over here, Pittsburgh, Seattle...great experience, but the game goes on for so long, thats why the highlights are great. Hopefully going to see the Dallas Cowboys this season, quite a few of my work mates follow them.

I'd love to go to a game but I figured everyone just got so pissed in the sun they didn't realise they were spending so long there.
