Fox You Forest Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Rubbish! You know it's true. Chargers by 20!
Daggers Posted 25 October 2008 Posted 25 October 2008 Erm...playing games in London? Does no one notice how shite this is? I can't wait for AC Milan to turn over Roma when they play at Chipping Sodbury's community pitch.
act smiley Posted 26 October 2008 Posted 26 October 2008 Yeah, but like everything in life, its an entirelly different matter when its someone else getting shafted.

Or it just gives people like me the chance to go and watch a game that I'll enjoy?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 October 2008 Author Posted 27 October 2008 Eagles beat the Falcons 27-14 and are now 4-3. Hopefully they can kick off from here and put together a play-off charge.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 October 2008 Author Posted 27 October 2008 A fit Westbrook helps... And the Pats are not buried yet either. He was monumental again at the weekend.
Uncle Albert Posted 27 October 2008 Posted 27 October 2008 MTWG... How are my boys getting on havent been on here for a while.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 27 October 2008 Author Posted 27 October 2008 MTWG... How are my boys getting on havent been on here for a while. They're doing really well, 6-1. Beat the Steelers 21-14 at the weekend, and they're no mugs. A wise man would put his money on them going far.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 30 October 2008 Posted 30 October 2008 Eagles beat the Falcons 27-14 and are now 4-3. Hopefully they can kick off from here and put together a play-off charge. But did you see the call the officials made on Phillies punt to Atlanta at a key point of the game - idiots! Still, I'm suprised Atlanta have managed to win as many as they have this season, young Ryan seems to be developing well. Did anyone go to Wembley on the weekend - great game, shit stadium! How can you sell out of Jellied Doughnut's and Popcorn before the end of the first quarter! However one plus point - no traffic, managed to get out of the stadium and home to bristol in about 2 hours with a stop!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 November 2008 Author Posted 3 November 2008 Eagles beat the Seahawks 26-7. Now 5-3.
C-man Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 In my Sheffield Sabres game on Sunday against Leicester Longhorns (we battered them), I saw at least 2 tackles which were better than some of the ones on that video! It's immense when you can hear the crunch in person Half of those tackles are illegal now anyway! Still a class video though

It's immense when you can hear the crunch in person Half of those tackles are illegal now anyway! Still a class video though On NFL weekly they have a chap do a few minutes about rules and what not every week, He says there may be quiet a few changes with regards to tackling next year because of the tackle on Brady. Anyone else and they wouldn't have bothered.
Lovejoy Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 Arizona vs Frisco was a rather tense affair, enjoyed that one.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 December 2008 Author Posted 5 December 2008 Plaxico you idiot . I.D.I.O.T Why are the talented ones always the stupidest? Also, the Eagles beat the Cardinals this week 48-20.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 December 2008 Author Posted 8 December 2008 Eagles beat the Giants 20-14 last night. Great result, back in the play-off race now. Westbrook's on fire at the minute.
Ultra Posted 10 December 2008 Posted 10 December 2008 My brother's just come back from watching the Jets lose at San Francisco. He reckons they'll still win their division, but I'm not convinced. The Patriots are running back into form at just the right time.
C-man Posted 10 December 2008 Posted 10 December 2008 The Vikings have won their last 3 to go to 8-5, and have their most realistic shot at the post-season for 4 years. The problem is, with only a 1 game lead in the NFC North, 3 tough fixtures remaining (Cardinals, Falcons, Giants), and the impending loss of both DTs, they might only just scrape in. Still, I'm excited about watching more American Football in the new year.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 December 2008 Author Posted 29 December 2008 Eagles battered the Cowboys 44-6. Well pleased with that, don't like the Cowboys at all.

That reminds me, Did you see Asante Samuel's interception return for a TD a few weeks back, Showboating that I'm sure the coach didn't like. He dropped the ball on the one yard line on purpose then picked it up again in the endzone.

Yeah Very pleased at the minute, that result means they've picked up the final spot in the NFC Play offs.
Jonezy Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 Crap NFL rules. 11-5 and no playoff.... God has left New England Falcons, Eagles, Vikings and Ravens have my support in the playoffs now. Please no Mannings in the SB. Now on to checking out draft prospects...
Jordan Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 There's one more playoff spot--the AFC West title--up for grabs and San Diego already has both hands on it. The Chargers were a chic pick amongst pundits to win the AFC but spent most of the season playing like crap and were 4-8 last month, but they won their last three and are killing Denver now. The sleeping giant is awake... - Speaking of great turnarounds, the Miami Dolphins--just 1-15 last season--are in the playoffs. Chad Pennington is a division-champion quarterback and Brett Favre gets to start his latest retirement charade tomorrow. Hard luck for the Patriots, though I can't say I'm upset to see such misfortune in New England! Love it--but not as much as I enjoyed learning that the Cowboys missed the NFC's last playoff spot after Philly humiliated them today--and a wild card berth complete with a trip to Arizona to play the stumbling Cardinals . - Way to go, Vikings, squeezing past an already-clinched-everything Giants team that treated today's game almost like it was the preseason. I guarantee things will be a lot more difficult for them next week when the on-fire Eagles come to the Metrodome (although I'd like to see the Vikes knock out those Philly bastards!). - Lest we forget... 0-16. Worst franchise in the league now sets the standard as low as possible. What a shame it is for anyone to be a Lions fan... inept ownership and management that has spanned generations. The AFC playoffs are loaded with monster teams and I'm not quite sure who to pick (though I don't think the Dolphins will make it out alive). The Colts are on a nine-game winning streak and I think they're good enough to pull off what the Giants did last year and win three road games. All of Pittsburgh are holding their breath hoping Ben Roethlisberger is OK--they think he'll be good to go in two weeks but concussions are always scary and he's had head injuries before. I still think the Giants, despite some late-season struggles and the loss of Plaxico "Giant Douchebag" Burress, will take the NFC crown--partly because everyone else has their question marks, too, but mostly because I'm quite biased in favor of Big Blue. AFC Indy def. SD Baltimore def. Miami Indy def. Tennessee Baltimore def. Pittsburgh Indy def. Baltimore NFC Philly def. Minnesota Atlanta def. Arizona NY Giants def. Philly (though I'm nervous about this possible matchup after last time they met...) Carolina def. Atlanta NY Giants def. Carolina Super Bowl XLIII Peyton vs. Eli My pick? C'mon...
