Flynny Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Hayes on the right-wing? Interesting. Sounds like the Baggies put a strong team out, too.
Simi Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Trailist at left back? Rowe Turner would be at left back.
Sods Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Rowe Turner would be at left back. Oh fair play. Trialist somewhere in the team.
knowitall Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 Trailist at left back? Trailist was Bruno Berner. This game was for scouts from other teams to look at our players. Mick Harford Danny Wilson Stuart Mcall Martin Ling MK Dons chairman and someone from Wallsall. Plus a few more. Whom I did not know.

Joe. Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 I think that just tells us now that Kish, N'Gotty, Worley and DJ are definitely available now then.
lavrentis Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 But we were 2-0 up yes mate, then Birmingham scored 2 and it was 2-2.
Joe. Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 yes mate, then Birmingham scored 2 and it was 2-2. Well, actually they didn't.
lildave3 Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 yes mate, then Birmingham scored 2 and it was 2-2. Controversial.

If one or other of them picks up Porter and DJ it will be an afternoon well spent!
Father Ted Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 As Bert has previously said, Kish will not go for the sole reason that Tunch is here.
Thracian Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 As Bert has previously said, Kish will not go for the sole reason that Tunch is here. Would you turn down a reasonably lucrative chance to play somewhere regularly just cos your mate was at the same club? The only reason Kish might stay is because he might find it hard to get someone to match his wages here or, perhaps, to get on the coaching ladder. He's not done a lot wrong since Pearson arrived but, barring injuries, I just can't see him getting much football. Good to see Ryan Beswick returning briefly after injury. In theory you'd think he'd have a chance of competing for a squad place but his injuries haven't helped and he never seems to get a break so I'd imagine he'd be happy with a loan move.

Tilley Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 So we're back in with chance of signing Berner? We don't want/need him.
Joe. Posted 9 September 2008 Posted 9 September 2008 We've got ex-England international Chris Powell so we don't need Bruno Berner thanks.
