Corky Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Didnt think it was gonna be a broken leg though!! I thought he got up and squared up to Guthrie straight afterwards?
Corky Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Moment of madness from Guthrie! Hope he does it to Dennis Wise now
Maybes Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Hope he does it to Dennis Wise now Good call.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Awful tackle hope he gets a huge ban ! Same here, and he had the cheek to walk off applauding the fans. Twat.
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 What a c*** I only condone one horror challenge and that was Keane v Haaland.
Asha Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Shocking challenge. I'm suprised he's broke his leg though...got up and challenged Guthrie about it, making me think he were alright.
sdb Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 What a c***I only condone one horror challenge and that was Keane v Haaland. why????
Uncle Albert Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Gerrard on Naysmith and Keving Campbell, they were horrible. Nathko you have surprised me there with your view on Keane's tackle.
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 why???? Although I think it was a disgusting challenge I tried to place myself in Keane's boots and the way Haaland reacted when Keane got injured at elland road, he came over and start mouthing off whilst he was on the floor in agony. I could never forgive him, whilst others could, and I would have done the same thing as Keane if I am totally honest, which I am. That's just my opinion on it.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 I only condone one horror challenge and that was Keane v Haaland. That was a quite frankly sickening tackle assault
Darkzzz_ Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Gerrard on Naysmith and Keving Campbell, they were horrible.Nathko you have surprised me there with your view on Keane's tackle. Ouch they were very bad. Why do I suprise you Alb, Just out of interest. I am not saying that I condone filthy challenges but if someone mouthed off at me whilst I was injured I would want revenge.

Just from a man that has strong views on football, I just didnt think Keane's tackle would be one of them mate. But you have said why so...

Darkzzz_ Posted 15 September 2008 Posted 15 September 2008 Just from a man that has strong views on football, I just didnt think Keane's tackle would be one of them mate. But you have said why so... Cheers Mate. I don't mean to be harsh, I just like to get my point across, I never set out to offend anyone or to be right all the time. I just say how I see it. I have been wrong many times, I am not one of these people who can't admit being wrong. I just understood that Keane received a barrage of abuse from Haaland and some thing's he said according to his book were not related to football. Keane could not let this rest until he did what he done. I am just saying I would have done the same. It would be so hard not to. Anyway....did anyone see the Mehdi Nafti challenge on saturday? That was bad...
The Blur Posted 16 September 2008 Posted 16 September 2008 I thought he got up and squared up to Guthrie straight afterwards? Nah Guthrie went flying past him and the player he was tussling with before Guthrie's tackle was the one he squared up to Not sure who was the player though
MPH Posted 16 September 2008 Posted 16 September 2008 Although I think it was a disgusting challenge I tried to place myself in Keane's boots and the way Haaland reacted when Keane got injured at elland road, he came over and start mouthing off whilst he was on the floor in agony.I could never forgive him, whilst others could, and I would have done the same thing as Keane if I am totally honest, which I am. That's just my opinion on it. and keane mouthed him back after tackling him so keane did the exact same thing as alf inge Haaland did. Yet its ok for keane to do it but not for Haaland? you also mention keane recieved a barrage of abuse from Haaland.... and keane has never given out a barrage of abuse to anyone has he... you strange person.
Stevosevic Posted 16 September 2008 Posted 16 September 2008 The reason Haaland gave Keane abuse is because Keane was trying to hurt Haaland (Keane says in his book), instead he injured himself, so Haaland shouted a few things at him, how terrible. But Keane being the d**k that he is, blamed Haaland for him getting injured, so ended his career. Keane is and forever will be a c**k.
Corky Posted 16 September 2008 Posted 16 September 2008 Look at Callum Davidson. His jaw was smashed by Wise, but did he look for revenge when we played Millwall? No, he was a big man and put the team above his own selfish attitude. Keane is a thug, always has been, from his early days at Old Trafford through until the end of his playing career. He may have been a great player, but this sort of thing will mean he isn't universally highly thought of outside of Old Trafford.
