I'm thinking, if Bruno Berner is any good then do we really need 3 left backs. We could command a big fee for joe and go on a spending spree in January. ie getting a good goalkeeper in at last?

I think Berner has come because Mattock is probably going to be gone in January anyway.

I doubt there'll be any spending spree, Mandaric's still trying to get his money back although we will need to sort out the goalkeeping position with Martin's loan ending.

It would be a thread for the deluded - no way is Mandaric going to pay £3 mill in League 1 especially as he wasn't prepared to pay it in the Championship where it would have served greater service. The truth is goalkeeping is not a major problem.

Whatever, and there are plenty of threads on the Henderson/Martin subject it's still not a major problem whoever he plays so the likelihood of Fulop comimn back is next to zero.

Henderson > Martin. IMO anyway, Don't know why, Henderson isn't the most reliable GK but I have more faith in him than Martin for some reason, I just feel abit uneasy with Martin in goal.

Nah TBH we are best off keeping Joe for a few more seasons if we can, let him develop a bit more, then sell for more

It's not just up to us (the club) though.If Mattock could join a higher club and earn lots more money then he'd be silly to turn it down.

Berner's in to cover LB while Mattock's injured, remember Powell's contract was only 6 months. Once thats up we'll be down to two again.

Powell's been impressive though, I'm genuinely suprised.

I cant see Mattock leaving before the Summer and if we get promoted then hopefully he will stay. Can see Powell's contract being extended till the end of the summer but no further.

Possibly get him in the coaching staff.

Anyways if we get promoted and Wolves dont go up I want Stearman back.
