He's actually a pretty decent defender, he just makes mistakes. Sadly for him, there seems to be a lot of them and pretty bad ones too.

Steven Taylor is a talent but I see him make mistakes all the time. Surely if Bramble is that bad he wouldn't get anywhere near a team managed by one of Man Utd's greatest ever defenders. Liked him at West Ham but since...nah. Not bad enough for this thread but it needs pointing out.

Bramble at least has some talent - sure he's guaranteed to do something remarkably stupid on a regular basis but between that he's not too bad a player. Dawson on the other hand is just rubbish all the time. Senderos is a bottom half player for sure, he's in the Bramble mould of not being consistent enough and while he did have a good start he's just not managed to get any better to my eyes. O'Shea is hard done by, because he's not a bad player, just nothing at all special. Ameobi however, is cack and is barely a Championship player even to me.
