Bert Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 Last nite i was enjoying a few "drinks" in the soar point when it came to my attention that Matt Heath was in there!! with Martin Reeves! spoke to him for a bit, he sed that he loves playing for the club and all that but he dont think the gaffer rates him!!
Ric Flair Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 What astounds me is that Matt Heath was one of our crapper youth players and he's managed to play well over 50-60 games for Leicester. Just imagine the impact one of our better prospects would have such as Stearman or Dawson. Heath has been given alot of chances at Leicester and he's not good enough, I just hope Stearman, Dawson and a few others get that many chances too. Wasn't he in the ressies last night? Must have shot back to Leicester for a bangin night in The Soar Point.
Guest Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 It's only half an hour down the A47, isn't it? Easy...
Bert Posted 13 April 2005 Author Posted 13 April 2005 Yea was Definetly him!!... he didint get in there til about 10:45 though. He was only drinking water though, same as Reeves, anyone know if he's stil at Northampton??
adam Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 Reeves is avaliable on a free. Terrible player I thought Heath and Wright both looked poor last night for the reserves. May aswel realease these pair at the end of the season. Give some others a chance

One of those who probably looks more bothered about his haircut than the way he plays football, especially to lower league managers.
Random Burglar Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 I saw him in the bar sumo a couple of months and he said exactly the same things to me.
Anish Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 Something that intrigues me is why/how so many of our academy/youth players leave us and never make the grade at any other league club. Over the years we have seen players like Reeves, Jon Ashton, Tom Williamson, Jon Stevenson etc all leave and then disappear off the face of professional football. Why do they even get scouted by LCFC or get youth contracts with the club? Something must be going wrong somewhere when none of our academy 'stars' make the grade in professional football. And I can only see this list increasing with the likes of Tommy Wright, Heath, Conrad Logan, O Grady (even Dawson perhaps).
Scow Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 He is cack. No ability, too weak, no positional sense, and generally a liability Off to Coventry you go then.

jase67 Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 Say what you like but young Matt has the best goals per game ratio this season.
step Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 Ye, matt does have an excelent goals per game ratio. But he always makes silly mistakes when under pressure and costs us goals against. so his goals against per game ratio is a lot higher.

Anything else is a bonus.

Louise Posted 13 April 2005 Posted 13 April 2005 Say what you like but young Matt has the best goals per game ratio this season. 92446[/snapback] Actually Stearman, Connolly, Scowcroft and Dublin all have a better GPG ratio, and Nalis's is the same as Heath's.

filbertway Posted 14 April 2005 Posted 14 April 2005 Can we lose dabizas as well? He's a liability always giving away silly free kicks in dangerous areas, and missing headers, its gold medal he wears through out the match, must be having an effect on him.
