  1. 1. Once an u21 has represented his country at full international level, should he then be banned from representing his country at u21 level?

So you think i'm suggesting a ban because it's giving Wales a better chance of beating England tomorrow? I'm guessing you also think i'm suggesting all u21's should be banned from returning to that level if they've played at senior level, unless they're English?

Moron.

Yes. That's exactly what I was implying.

No, you berk, it's about the size of different footballing nations and the player-base they have to select from. Your stupid little ruling would do wonders for nations like England, Germany, France, Brazil and co' who reel out hundreds of internationals per generation and who get to gift their players with experience in twice the amount of games through major tournaments; and then completely shit on the little guys.

If you weren't such an obnoxious, obtuse little boy I'm sure you'd have worked that out.

The current system enables lesser footballing nations (and, yes, I keep using Wales as an example because it's the one I know and the example YOU gave) to draw completely from their talent pool for senior level without stunting the progress and learning curve of their younger lads. The likes of Gareth Bale aren't exactly going to go and get to play at the next world cup, but he's a fantastic prospect and it'll do wonders for his career to get an opportunity to play in the U21 Euros - but the lad's clearly needed by his national side and, as still a teenager, should be honoured to have the opportunity to play for both set ups.

It's a very fair point and one I agree with. How much they develop from U21 games is another debate though...

But do you have to come accross as this touchy adolescent that explodes every time Wales and the seven-letter E-word are mentioned in the same sentence?

Look, there's no need to call him an obnoxious, obtuse little boy...it's a fair enough point he's making. Fair enough if you don't agree but you don't need to make it personal.

I'm just easily baited down to the level of others.:thumbup:

Nah, I just reckon it'll be good entertainment, especially if the first leg's anything to go by.

Hopefully. We've not been bad on the road but if they're going to be intimidated anywhere then away to England's likely.

Be interesting, I hope, but I can't say I'm all that optimistic.

If you've got access to the internet during the game get on www.justin.tv, it'll be broadcasting on there.

Yeah it's not quite the same.
