purpleronnie Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 I can't be bothered today. Nor me, One decent game against poor opposition, I wont mention the 30+ games they didnt play well together including playing even worse sides...opps just did.
RowlattsFox Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 I believe Barry was only playing as Joe Cole was injured. Barry will play until Hargreaves is fit I would say, Joe Cole will either be on the right if he keeps Gerrard on the left or on the left if he moves Gerrard to the right or on the bench.
lildave3 Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 My dad watched it and said our defence looked iffy, which against a team like that is worrying, he also said gerrard missed an absolute sitter to rival that scottish one last weekend. He mentioned Heskey looked solid and rooney (who hes not a big fan of) was very good.My worry if thats true, is the strength in depth, especially if we have to play a decent team. Nowhere near as bad!

Samilktray Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 You're paying? I'll get packing. Ill go for the obvious. 'You can fit in my suitcase' There.
syston_fox Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 You're paying? I'll get packing. You wouldnt get through customs
lildave3 Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 You wouldnt get through customs Any particular reason?
syston_fox Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Any particular reason? Because when they say "anything to declare?", you would make some smart arse comment about how Steve Howard is under-rated and annoy the customs officer (as is my understanding of how your brain works)
lildave3 Posted 16 October 2008 Posted 16 October 2008 Because when they say "anything to declare?", you would make some smart arse comment about how Steve Howard is under-rated and annoy the customs officer (as is my understanding of how your brain works) Valid point. Although I think you've underestimated said customs officer. He's actually a Luton fan, so we'd chat for hours about 'our' Big Steve and so probably miss the plane anyway. But he'd pull a few strings and get us a private jet straight to the ground free of charge meaning STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE will be everyone's hero, not just mine and John's. John is the customs officers name. Obviously. Sheesh.

But the private plane is known as "The Luton Town" and has been deducted 1 wing as a result of financial difficulties meaning you won't leave the runway. Sorry chap!
