Matt Posted 18 October 2008 Posted 18 October 2008 Oldham's is shite. Worse than ours? 1 they were slower than ours (Record?), And they ran out of ALL hot food, and by the time I got served they'd stopped selling beer because they were so slow and the second half had started thus me missing 5 - 10 minutes of the second half. Tell you what we don't know how lucky we are!
Webbo Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 I had a very nice meat & potato pie. I think that a better description would have been m and potato pie, as there was precious little meat in mine.
Daggers Posted 19 October 2008 Posted 19 October 2008 Oldham's weather is shite. Worse than ours? Although it looked like it was going to be a sunny day that blanket of drizzle came in and dampened everyones' spirits. It seems as though everyone over in Manchester avoided it and people were applying sun cream back in the Midlands. Tell you what we don't know how lucky we are!

I thought that, Was well nice, then we seemed to hit Oldham and it turned really dull.

AmericanScott Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 The stuff we used to do to the pies at the Walkers when i worked in the kiosks
SamL Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 You've never been to Preston have you, Matt? The worst concourse food I've ever had was at Crystal Palace. The pies fall to pieces in your hand, they're over cooked and ridiculously priced.
Asha Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 The stuff we used to do to the pies at the Walkers when i worked in the kiosks I'll probably regret asking, but what did you do to them?
SamL Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 I'll probably regret asking, but what did you do to them? - He's having you on, I hope.
GloverFox Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 -He's having you on, I hope. ... hate to think ... but the pies at the Walkers are well tasty and always served with such a loving Smile !!!!!!!!!
AmericanScott Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 I'm only messing. The pies were fine. Sometimes though, the hotdogs and burgers weren't cooked thoroughly and served a tad cold by the lazy "chefs" in the North stand. I haven't worked there since Blackpool at home.
Unit Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 -He's having you on, I hope. I can vouch for the fact he did work there... Haha, wonder how many of you he infected.
Ross-Kemp Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 The worst concourse food I've ever had was at Crystal Palace. The pies fall to pieces in your hand, they're over cooked and ridiculously priced. Fulham pies
JakeShingler Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 Watford pies were like Bricks and you had nothing to eat it with
Guest Bilo Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 I don't think our food is that bad to be fair. The Chicken Balti pie is bloody lovely. (I'm only being half-sarcastic, it actually is quite tasty)
Durnerz Posted 20 October 2008 Posted 20 October 2008 What about Readings? Apparently a lot of people had cauliflower bumhole after consuming their pies.
