If I knew what point you were trying to make I'd try and answer it.
imagine that Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 Anyone ST holders want to give me a hand at getting cheaper tickets?
Fatbloke Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 If I knew what point you were trying to make I'd try and answer it. I suppose it boils down to the famous old quote from Churchill, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" in a round about sort of way this offer helps both the season ticket holder, admitedly not directly, and also the club, it seems you, and others are constantly extracting the urine out of the club for the monthly offer initiative but what do you actually wan`t ? what do you expect the club to GIVE you for nothing ? the more effort the club makes, the more ideas they try, the more you to decry them,

Me, my son, and mates have decided to buy STH. My other mates support other teams and would rather spend their hard earned cash supporting their teams. We (the STH) don't need cheap match tickets. My other mates hold no interest in coming to the Walkers. How does this benefit me or the club? It's an old marketing tool being badged as a benefit!?!

We didn't ask for these benefits, I would have bought my ST anyway, but they made the offer as part of the package. It's up to them to come up with the benefits, if they can't think of any then they have mislead the fans with this benefit offer. As for 'asking me what I can do for the club', well they haven't asked, have they. They offered us this 'dubious benefit', you work at the club and even you are admitting the offer of cheap tickets for ST holders is not a benefit. As I said if they were honest and actually did ask for help directly instead of disguising it as a benefit then I would take it as that and try to help but I don't like to be conned, taken for granted or mislead. Perhaps you can get that message back to the club because they seem to be incapable of treating fans with honesty and integrity. The best way to get the fans to contribute more and spend more is by treating them as valued members of the club who are, in most cases dying to help. I shan't be holding my breath waiting for a change of approach.
Daggers Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 I would love to be turned on by Kerry Katona, but she is as sexy as an exciting monthly benefit in a g-string. That's better
Munzie Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 That's better Viagra and wooden splints would have little effect in my quest to find that fat, top heavy, fart machine sexy.
act smiley Posted 10 November 2008 Posted 10 November 2008 What a superb offer!! Another great monthly benefit. Why o' why did they come out with this marketing crap about exciting monthly benefits when they can't forfill them. Beyond a joke. This is a bit of a rubbish offer, but its blatantly a plan B because Stevenage refused to let them discount the cup tickets, so I do have some sympathy for the club on this particular one of their crap offers.

The offer was advertised way before the draw I think.
Fox92 Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 That offers pretty poor because the games are on Tuesday nights

I do not work for the club, lord know`s how you came to that conclusion, I help them on a voluntary basis and have done for many many years, I can, and will, get your views back to the club but I happen to believe that City fans are treated very fairly and are certainly not "conned" "taken for granted" or "mislead"

Sorry about thinking you worked for them, maybe it's because you always seem to defend them and talk as if you have insider knowledge that is often only obtained by someone in close proximity to those in the know..
The People's Hero Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 Just get some fit barely legals in their LCFC themed bikinis and some bloooonwhi pompoms and the place will soon be rocking again.

Corky Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 That doesn't. You have to consider the female supporters, with all this equality crap around nowadays
The People's Hero Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 You have to consider the female supporters, with all this equality crap around nowadays Bollocks do you. They should be on the pitch stripping and dancing and jiggling their baps about, not watching! What are you Corky? Some namby pamby left wing communist hippie-loving nonsence preacher? The People's Hero Posted 11 November 2008 Posted 11 November 2008 Ian Marshall stripping to his (dirty) y-fronts. Even us fellas can enjoy that, pointing out to the nearest fella that we're in better shape. Ahhhhhhh. Seriously, get some nubile young fitties dancing around with inadequate mammarial support and attendances will rocket. Even if it is the women's lib etc turning up to protest (but you have to pay to get in, ladies).

The People's Hero Posted 12 November 2008 Posted 12 November 2008 I see my foxy ladies idea has zero support. Thanks. Gays.
