As a football point of view I wouldn't say i'm not jealous, Champions League, A good Premiership side, but i'd never support them. All I was saying was that song with every (Almost) fan in the ground singing it, with such a good atmosphere...Your not jealous? Your telling me you'd prefer the library Walkers Stadium? (And I know they have just a few thousand more fans in there grounds, obviously which has some effect on it)

poynton blue Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 Why anyone would be jealous of Liverpool is beyond me. Why anyone would be jealous of septic is beyond me

Your telling me you'd prefer the library Walkers Stadium? Have you ever sat in the Kop at Anfield? Have you ever experienced the whole beauty of the "Never walk alone experience"? Do you know what happens next? I'll give you a clue; it involves bottoms and seats. It also involves some quietness.
Samilktray Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 Why anyone would be jealous of septic is beyond me Septic?
Finnegan Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 Why anyone would be jealous of septic is beyond me Don't pretend you aren't. Septic? What the huns call Celtic.
Jack Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 I fooking hate liverpool with a passion. I hate Carragher more though
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 I don't really like Liverpool FC but the actual city itself is perfect.
Joe. Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 YNWA is always immense at both Liverpool and Celtic on European nights, nobody can argue that at all. Must have been pretty immense to score for Celtic in that atmosphere tonight. And then what happens? Oh yes, it has to be completely deflated and ruined by ****ing goal music. It sounded absolutely ridiculous, I was shocked that they still played it in the Champions League after a goal, especially at a ground like Parkhead.

I'm pretty sure Celtic were the first team to play Chelsea Dagger weren't they? The last time they played Man U I think.

lildave3 Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 It was pigbag tonight... Ouch. In other news, i'm gutted. A mishap has meant i've recorded Celtic/Man U twice, and not recorded Fenerbahce
Joe. Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 Ouch.In other news, i'm gutted. A mishap has meant i've recorded Celtic/Man U twice, and not recorded Fenerbahce Nightmare Benjamin. Doesn't look like you've missed much though to be fair.
lildave3 Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 Nightmare Benjamin. Doesn't look like you've missed much though to be fair. Just seen the highlights, good point. A little lucky, but a good point. And Ugur Boral is still shit.
dandannieldanok Posted 5 November 2008 Posted 5 November 2008 All I'll say is I'd love to one day see Anfield booming to a 0-0 draw against Northampton and in reverse a champions league game at the walkers. So would I. Have you ever sat in the Kop at Anfield? Have you ever experienced the whole beauty of the "Never walk alone experience"? Do you know what happens next?I'll give you a clue; it involves bottoms and seats. It also involves some quietness. Amen to that, last night was a perfect example. As soon as the first whistle went they all sat, and apart from a few sparse bursts of "Li-ver-pool, Li-ver-pool", they were completely silent. The Atletico fans on the other hand were immense. Also there were a lot of foreign looking people in the Liverpool crowd, I'd like to know the actual percentage of Liverpool natives in the home crowd.

True apart from almost the entire kop stood all game, but yes the madrid fans as usual for foreign fans outsung the liverpool fans.
Lovejoy Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 There's actually a massive contrast between Liverpool and Celtic. Liverpool fans will tell you they are amazing, but in actual fact they only make a good atmosphere 3 or 4 times a season. Celtic fans on the other hand, are fantastic and are very vocal every game.

Are you sure? most celtic fans will tell you for normal home games the atmosphere is poor.
Floating Fox Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Are you sure? most celtic fans will tell you for normal home games the atmosphere is poor. Was going to say the same. I'd say Parkhead is worse than Anfield for most league games.

The one and only time I ever sat in the Kop at Anfield, I had to sit!! None of this famous standing. Admittedly there were no away fans (well, not officially..... ) however, when we scored at the other end of the pitch, all I could hear was the City players!!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 You want an atmosphere you get yourself down to the Westfalenstadion.
