Floating Fox Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 You want an atmosphere you get yourself down to the Westfalenstadion.
Phube Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 There's actually a massive contrast between Liverpool and Celtic. Liverpool fans will tell you they are amazing, but in actual fact they only make a good atmosphere 3 or 4 times a season. Celtic fans on the other hand, are fantastic and are very vocal every game. I'd agree with the Liverpool one... the media ALWAYS bang on about the atmosphere there but that's only when they're winning (or on top). My only experience of Anfield was the City 2-0 win there (Tony Cottee ) and it was worse than the Walkers!! But then we were on top from the 5th minute!!
Corky Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 The one and only time I ever sat in the Kop at Anfield, I had to sit!! None of this famous standing. Admittedly there were no away fans (well, not officially..... ) however, when we scored at the other end of the pitch, all I could hear was the City players!! How very naughty of you
Guest Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 How very naughty of you I felt justified by the fact they could segregate seats for Celtic fans in the UEFA Cup, but not for the opening PL fixtures.
Lovejoy Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Are you sure? most celtic fans will tell you for normal home games the atmosphere is poor. Was going to say the same. I'd say Parkhead is worse than Anfield for most league games. In that case I stand corrected .
RedHux Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Was going to say the same. I'd say Parkhead is worse than Anfield for most league games. Nowhere's worse then anfield. Only goodison could have as high a concentration of scousers in one place making them one and two on my list of sh{t places to go. Not a problem I'm likely to have for a year or two though.

I quite like Scousers. Have been to Liverpool a few times and the people always seem friendly and willing to help.
lildave3 Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 You want an atmosphere you get yourself down to the Sukru Saracoglu. Edited.
Nationwider Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Have you ever sat in the Kop at Anfield? Have you ever experienced the whole beauty of the "Never walk alone experience"? Do you know what happens next?I'll give you a clue; it involves bottoms and seats. It also involves some quietness. ...except on the specially designated Anfield whoopie cushion matches, that is.
Floating Fox Posted 7 November 2008 Posted 7 November 2008 I quite like Scousers.Have been to Liverpool a few times and the people always seem friendly and willing to help. Obviously stayed away from the council estates then eh?
