Sparky Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 Or I dont like how we hype up our own over here to the point of boredom? The yanks dont like hype do they . Calzaghe been under "hyped" in my view
Jack Posted 6 November 2008 Posted 6 November 2008 I have mega respect for Joe Calzaghe for his immense fitness levels and his dedecation and he has a brilliant record, no doubt about that, but im a big Roy Jones fan, so therefore I want a Jones win.
Darkzzz_ Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Both are very good boxers. I am certainly hoping Calzaghe comes away with a victory but I feel it could be Jones victory. Calzaghe has never been up against anyone like this before and while I don't agree with people saying Calzaghe isn't a great boxer, I feel he could have maybe took a few more chances in his career in terms of BIG fights like this one. Still a legend in my opinion and he doesn't get the praise he deserves.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 Loads of experts reckon it won't be Calzaghe's last fight. They think he'll want to go out at the Millenium Stadium.
Ashley Posted 8 November 2008 Posted 8 November 2008 I'm actually gutted I carnt watch this, my sky box broke

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Great to see Calzaghe winding the Yanks up.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 What time we talking? 4am? Probably around then, yeah.
lildave3 Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Probably around then, yeah. Ridiculous. I want my sleep, but I really want to watch it.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Ridiculous.I want my sleep, but I really want to watch it. The way I see it, I've come this far, I'll regret it if I don't watch it. Plus I've been looking forward to it all weekend, but I didn't anticipate how tired I'd become. I should've lied in this morning instead of getting up to watch tMi.
lildave3 Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Michael Buffer > God. Definitely. Is anyone else watching this online? My link hasn't started broadcasting yet, am I missing anything?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Definitely. Is anyone else watching this online? My link hasn't started broadcasting yet, am I missing anything? Just other fights on the bill.
lildave3 Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 Just other fights on the bill. Changed links now, just showed Calzaghe backstage looking pure evil. Figueroa vs Augustus is on now, is that what's happening on Setanta?
