JoeyB Posted 20 May 2009 Posted 20 May 2009 From some interview with Kasabians Chris Edwardsis this the end of the horrible Chelsea Dagger? lets hope so!! yeah but how often does the walkers have 30k in?
One Half Wonder Posted 20 May 2009 Posted 20 May 2009 Should we ever get rid of the goal music though I have fears, A majority of home supporters (i.e - Don't travel away) have forgot or don't know how to celebrate without the music, Just look for example when the goal music isn't played straight away after a goal people are just standing there doing nothing waiting for the music to start celebrating. This is why as much as I and many people hate the music i'm thinking it might better just to leave it as it is. Music and Celebrations = Embarrassing. No Music and No Celebration = Unbelievably Embarrassing. I don't subscribe to that idea at all, if you're watching City in a pub would you not be jumping up and down with joy when we scored? do we really need prompting by music when to be happy that we've scored a goal? If so then we shouldn't be watching football at all, go home and wash your car or go down the tigers or something Get a grip people, we're not American!!
leicesterseddon Posted 20 May 2009 Posted 20 May 2009 From some interview with Kasabians Chris Edwardsis this the end of the horrible Chelsea Dagger? lets hope so!! On the LCFC Direct website (club shop online) the home page is a sort of series of moving images of the new kit, with 'I'm on fire' (at least I think it is ) as the music. This is probably what they meant... The idea that fans can 'forget' to celebrate is laughable and actually rather insulting. Some tit at the club obviously seems set on it though; although next year the club will face a huge hike in the bill they have to pay to the PRS in order to play the music, which might hopefully make them reconsider. I still can't see why we can't have a vote to decide like the one Brum City had on their website. No one actually asked for the music to be played in the first place.
MarkDeVries Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 I dont think we should play any music when we score, but before the game we should play this - Would make the atmosphere much better. ****ing Dario G Someone may have already suggested this
Asha Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 When we score, they should play the music in this. Oh, and we should all do the actions as well.
Dan Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Entrance music : Faithless - Insomnia Goal music : Dario G - Carnival De Paris (chorus) job done.
leicesterseddon Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Entrance music: Old PHG Goal music: bugger all job done.
Dan Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Entrance music: Old PHGGoal music: bugger all job done. Obvious shout, but a good one of that. Instead of bugger all we could possibly have Jobber playing Carnival De Paris? Love that one and although its nothing unique it sounds quality at the right tempo and in full swing.
Isopen Posted 4 June 2009 Posted 4 June 2009 Entrance music : Faithless - Insomniajob done. Got that as my ringtone on my phone and everybody moans about it at work
Dan Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 Got that as my ringtone on my phone and everybody moans about it at work Its not a bad song to come out to though, I also liked a shout about playing the Darth Vader song.
Kilworthfox Posted 5 June 2009 Author Posted 5 June 2009 Entrance music: Old PHGGoal music: bugger all job done.
leicesterseddon Posted 5 June 2009 Posted 5 June 2009 actually it would be funny if one game we could have this:
Ford Super Sunday Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Anyone else hear the debate on the Phone in this evening I was compelled to call in, made my blood boil to hear any positive comments regarding that pile of crap being played! I do so hope they don't play it, but I am already resigned to having my celebrating stopped by that god awful song
Fosse Boy Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Anyone else hear the debate on the Phone in this eveningI was compelled to call in, made my blood boil to hear any positive comments regarding that pile of crap being played! I do so hope they don't play it, but I am already resigned to having my celebrating stopped by that god awful song What was being said?
Dan Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 What was being said? Some absolute legend said he liked it but would get rid of it because of how unpopular it was (Chelsea Dagger) and that Jobber should play Carnival De Paris on his drum when we score, that gets fans going and its created by the fans.
clazkel Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 If something had to be played after we scored at home then i like the idea of the horn that is played on radio leicester, and the other idea of someone who rang in tonight was fiesta by the pogues. I would prefer no music though
Corky Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 If something had to be played after we scored at home then i like the idea of the horn that is played on radio leicester, and the other idea of someone who rang in tonight was fiesta by the pogues. I would prefer no music though Our fans doing Irish dancing after goals?
clazkel Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Our fans doing Irish dancing after goals? Yeah sounds fun! Apparently Chelsea dagger was Martin Allen's idea at MK dons and at Leicester
Fosse Boy Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Yeah sounds fun! Apparently Chelsea dagger was Martin Allen's idea at MK dons and at Leicester Yeah it was. Stealing crap, takcy gimmicks off Franchise, that's what our club has resorted to. Brilliant.
Dan Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Yeah it was. Stealing crap, takcy gimmicks off Franchise, that's what our club has resorted to. Brilliant. I don't mind the song, but like i've said earlier its so unopopular its just a waste of time and ruins it for the fans, admittedly though, pleasing all Leicester fans is impossible - fact.
Hullfox Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 Yeah it was. Stealing crap, takcy gimmicks off Franchise, that's what our club has resorted to. Brilliant. Yeah and the Fratellis aren't even the band who originally recorded the song. It was done by the Rubettes who went out of business due to a lack of fans. The Fratelli's bought their recording contract and moved it to Scotland which is nowhere near the historical base of the Rubettes in Weston Super Mare. Fooking Franchise Band.
milan_foxes Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 I Say Kasabian-Fire, When We Score, As There Is A Part In The Middle Which Will Really Get The Fans Going
Kilworthfox Posted 17 June 2009 Author Posted 17 June 2009 I Say Kasabian-Fire, When We Score, As There Is A Part In The Middle Which Will Really Get The Fans Going How about Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Polka Dot Bakini when we run out, Club Tropicana when we score? Or should we have kept it as it was?????
Maybes Posted 17 June 2009 Posted 17 June 2009 I Say Kasabian-Fire, When We Score, As There Is A Part In The Middle Which Will Really Get The Fans Going Oh my days. God help us. We dont need goal music at away games to get us going.......
