I would happily swap. My asthma doesn't like our weather.

Lisa, I have asthma too, and I wasn't doing so well then, combination of heat & pollen wasn't too good for me...

Not had a rubbish bin collected since 11th December. Down at the bottom of a snow filled road. Never been salted or sanded. Bucks C.C, are s--t.

Someone needs to devise some kind of tax to pay for these vital services so things like this never happen again.................... oh, hang on! :frusty::rolleyes:

Indeed.

Ella's school was shut again, it's getting ridiculous now. The snow in our village has virtually been there since a week before Christmas, sick to the back teeth of it now and I'm one of the few who's always hated it.

Checked Met Office after rumours there might be snow this week.

Wednesday - Heavy Snow.

fooking great. Really hope it doesn't cancel football again

If snow screws up my plans for Friday I'm going to be beyond livid.

Won't be heavy snow in Leicester... that's for sure.

Rain.

And the likelihood of it causing many matches the be postponed is unlikely too as it'll be falling onto warmer ground than before and will therefore melt much more easily.

Yep. Saw that link just as the MO page loaded. And then couldn't be arsed to go back to it.

according to what i heard on the (bbc) news earlier, it's partially down to the met offices' predictions for a long dry hot summer, last year, and a mild winter. played the met office!

Yep, in Met's words, they predicted a 'barbecue-hot summer' lol.

Checked other weather sites and snow is forecast in places on Weds for London areas. Definitely gonna be rain and sleet though.
