Bert Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 We looked a bit too relaxed in the first half after we scored. In the second half it was a good end to end game, and the second goal was vital, I'm just glad we got it. We raised the tempo a bit more than in the first half which was good. Good performances from Fryatt, Oakley, King, Hobbs and Davies when he came on.
ousefox Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 Fryatt is immense in this league. Sign him up Nige!
Tilley Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 Lavley. That'll do, nice to finally kill a team off. Fryatt has to sign! Oakley well done, loved Gilbert at right back & Powell was solid at left back, looked very good. Chuffed.
maddog Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 nice game nice result nice performance and it weren't that cold down there today. Im 50-50 on Fryatt, he's proven not to be a championship striker, and he's not irreplacable. The way hes talking in his interviews tells me he will probably leave, and i rekon to Wolves. I wouldn't want us to keep him if we have to pay him £25,000+ a week he's not worth that. Last season in the championship he made 30 appearences and only scored twice. He's not a championship striker so sell him in jan.
potter3 Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 So did we have a bit more width when attacking with Gilbert at RB?
Bert Posted 6 December 2008 Posted 6 December 2008 So did we have a bit more width when attacking with Gilbert at RB? Yes. Gilbert's perseverance nearly gave him assist, he won the ball, sprinted half the pitch and knocked a decent ball in.

That Davies looks like a tidy player.
