The only way to bin IE entirely would be to dump Windows, wouldn't it?

Or have they actually unbundled it from the core of the OS?

I didn't think Raj was ready for a distro quite yet.

What I'm loving about FF at the moment is the WOT and Cooliris add-ons. WOT warns about potential problem websites and Cooliris looks, well...errr...cool. :D

Don't get rid of IE mate - just download Firefox from HERE

It's not perfect - just safer to use, especially for the seedy sites you probably frequent

DONE IT!

To be fair,it seems to be working ore efiicently than IE.

So thanks for that Guys.

The only thing is,when i google something, the reply pages are in bastard Chinese!!

And Foxmarks is the dog's bollocks if you're forced to swap between Firefox  and IE

Just downloaded Firefox, very impressed. I liked how it imported everything over. It is lightning fast aswell.

Microsoft have announced a fix for THIS gaping hole, so, in case you havent been convinced by the finer folk of FT to go to firefox...at least go to microsoft and up date that horrible ie.

I've been on Ubunutu 8.10 for the past three weeks, by the way.

Still have Vista on my drive taking up some space, but I've not touched it since firing up Ubuntu for the first time. :santa:

Best of all, I thought the Vista part of the drive would be inaccessible, so I was prepared to use my external drive for access to my documents... but I don't need to. Love it.
