I find IE very slow compared with firefox, and for me it crashes too often. Firefox almost never crashes and runs really smoothly. I don't use it just because it's different. My laptop is getting kinda old these days and it makes quite a difference.

It's not perfect - just safer to use, especially for the seedy sites you probably frequent

ffox = walking down the same street, same time but with clothes on and a couple of mates.

You may not actually be completely safe (especially depending on your mates) but you feel a whole lot better.

The only way to bin IE entirely would be to dump Windows, wouldn't it?

Or have they actually unbundled it from the core of the OS?
