For me, best we have played all season.

Don't think anyone could have predicted a 4 - 0 win against the Posh.

The early own goal helped us settle very quickly, thought the defence were excellent especially the Tunch.

Midfield played their part brilliantly today not only going forward but also in defence.

I must say that I must eat humble pie regarding Matty Fryatt, being one of his sternest critics, I have to say that he impressed me today.

It was good to see him actually manage to go round their keeper to score the second.

His work rate today both on and off the ball was very good, at last he seems to have learnt from his past mistakes and is playing more as a striker should. Long may he continue to do so.

Was really pleased to see Howard manage to get on the scoresheet with a long overdue goal.

As someone mentioned on RL, Howard / Fryatt are reminiscent of the Heskey / Cottee partnership from some years ago.

As Heskey has proved, you don't have to score the goals yourself, as long as you supply the ball to your strike partner, that's good enough.

For the third goal, it was good to see us actually score from a decent corner kick. Sorry meant free kick.

No doubt Thrac was pleased to see Kingy score.

All in all a very good performance, let's hope we can maintain this sort of form for the rest of the season.

You're right. For a kid in his first full season to be trusted with what is basically the holding or fulcrum role in midfield and to chip in with eight goals before Christmas in a table topping side that has lost twice is an immense achievement and the more so considering he has been ever present in League games.

However, pleased as I was for King, the goal that pleased me most yesterday was Howard's.

He's been so unlucky so far this season and could easily be into double figures like Fryatt. It was just great to see his elation in finally getting the monkey off his back. It was the perfect ending to another excellent contribution by the big man.

My most enjoyable home match since Sheffield United in 2005 (4-2 win). Everything was superb, our performance, the football and the scoreline. Everyone played very well, especially Davies, Gilbert, Oakley and Howard. They threw themselves into tackles, and defended and attacked in equal numbers. Martin looked very solid in goal.

Other great moments- Gilbert's fabulous through ball to Fryatt for the second goal, when Peterborough fans thought they'd scored, their keeper's throw straight out of play, all three misses from McLean and Mackail-Smith and the ref's marvellous back-heel straight to our midfield.

It really sent out a message to the rest of the division, and it's the sort of performance that will bring the fans back for more. Well done to everyone- management, players and the fans for creating a cracking atmosphere.

Hey. Just thought I'd come on and say well played. I didn't really think we'd win but thought it would be closer than that!!

We were really poor, worst we've played for ages, the crazy own goal knocked the stuffing out of us and we never played. To be fair though you never let us play, overran us in midfield and were first to everything. Your midfield looked quality, that Tunchev looked very solid and Howard caused us problems. Didn't reckon much to Fryatt, he seemed a bit quiet, didn't really seem to contribute much apart from the goal the ref gave him. In fact you actually only scored 2 proper goals against us!! Anyway, I'm not arguing, you deserved it anyway.

Still, a bit of a reality check might not do us any harm. It's highlighted some areas where we need to improve in the transfer window. We are the richest club in this league after all. And we may be down to 7th but we can still laugh at Leeds!

See you at London Road. On a seperate note, that match falls on an international weekend. We've got 3 internationals, not sure if you've got any, but there's a good chance that match will be postponed and will end up being one of the last games of the season.

We have 3 internationals too so it will be postponed to a Tuesday!

I wouldn't mind that actually - a night game on that terrace would be quality!

I do; it's been designated my official birthday match.

Didn't some of our fans set fire to it the last time we were there?

I hope it's at it's original time. A 12pm kick-off sounds great

But.... designated birthday match could now be an FT game if it does move and FT games involve alcohol!

Well on the first note - bloody well played yesterday lads.

You were the best team i've seen play against Posh in the league in years. The way you passed the ball around our defenders, outstanding. I had the Leicester comentry on and they were saying that you hadn't played that well in ages. So i don't know if we were crap, or you made us look crap.

The first goal was obviously very lucky. But in promotion you need some luck and that just set you all off for the rest of the 85minutes. Still don't know how the second goal stood, because i thought we were mugged because in my eyes and everyone elses it was a blatent free kick? Can't argue about the other 2 goals you scored though, your quality showed.

Im not too sure how we didn't score when it was 1-0, hit the post, hit the bar, sky it over. But that was our luck and i knew it wasn't going to be our day then. I found it funny that all the Posh fans cheered at Boyd's shot, because i knew straight away it went wide!

On to your stewards and club - absolute disgrace. I rung the club during the week about my drum, they said "yeah yeah that would be fine, we have one ourselfs". I spoke to the safety officer and said i'll let the stewards know on Saturday. I then don't even get to the turnstile and get it taken off me. Now, it's only a drum and it didn't bother me that much. But i just was annoyed that they say one thing and then change it when it's not really fair imo. I mean, it was nothing like the size of your drum. So i'll be making a complaint to Leicester City.

Anyway, well done yesterday. Good luck for the rest of the season - I'm sure you don't even need it though!

Adam.

Going back to the match, I felt the Peterborough midfield didn't give their strikers much chance at all. A lot of overhit and underhit through-balls. We didn't see the best of them yesterday.

If that money grabbing tosser had anything to do with it (which he doesn't) he'd play it at 3pm on the Saturday. Even if we had 16 internationals and no players available at whatsoever.

Actually, we probably wouldn't do any worse than yesterday! :(

All I am glad about is that my curse has been lifted. I work every Saturday so don't get to go to anywhere near as many games as I used to. The three I've been to this year are Millwall, Lincoln and Crewe all of which were boring and we didn't play well, so I'm glad I've got rid of the "oh he's not coming is he, it's bound to be shit" reputation I seemed to have gained amongst my mates!

I wondered where our drum was. It's not the size of the drum mate, it's what you do with it. Leicester's drummer was hopeless. He started getting ironic cheers from our fans when he got it right!

He's had a few weeks off, give him a chance to regain full fitness.

And that's the only thing we heard from your fans all game...

Your drummer only used the drum on TWO songs.

Ring of fire.

And the LEICESTER chant.

Come to see Jobber, you've only come to see Jobber.

On a serious note one thing I've always liked about Jobber is he uses the Drum in moderation, not all game, so it doesn't get boring and has an effect when he does use it.
