Darkzzz_ Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 I expect to get further in my Photography course and actually start to think about changing career. Finally get out of the hell hole I am in. Even though I do sit on my backside all day.

Sound like a list you made after the Doctor told you, you've got 6 months to live. Sorry but thats a awful lot for a year
Thracian Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 Sound like a list you made after the Doctor told you, you've got 6 months to live. Sorry but thats a awful lot for a year I've always tried to treat life as if there's not much left. In fact, if people ever stopped to work it out in likely days I'm sure they might take the same attitude. Some of those things are already part of my everyday framework so it's just a question of using all the time constructively instead of just some of it. I've actually written the equivalent of several books, words wise, on here since I started. I post much less now but simply hope that the habit of writing is now re-established and I can turn at least part of that time to something more challenging if not necesarily more enjoyable. Same with the musical instrument. I've made a start, it's just about allocating more time. It may seem a lot when listed but in fact it is other people who amaze me with what they do in the hours available. Some seem to achieve more in a day than I manage in a year, including my own sons.
Fosse Boy Posted 23 December 2008 Posted 23 December 2008 I'd bloody love to score fifty in a cricket match. The only milestones that I ever think about are cricket related.

I'm nothing special at all but since my wife's operation I am definitely even more committed to the previously quoted Shankly philosophy that "every day you've got life and breath you've got a holiday."
