All the sports I couldn't watch all day long then.

Darts is just fun because all the fans get really involved in it. Snooker because you get to see a sport made to look so easy compared to when you play it. Golf because it's one of my favourite sports apart from football and what professional's can do with a golf ball is unreal. Sergio Garcia is a hero of mine aswell.

Golf i could sit thru and watch all day it does get quite entertaining.

I saw Orienteering results listed in the sports section the other day, that is a shocking sport

I re-iterate - American Football is not very good. Too slow and disjointed, never gets going.

That's fair, but...

It's true. American football is rugby for girls.

...this is retarded.

Ever played it? You are a clown.

I can understand people not liking the sport 'cos it's too stop-start etc, they are legitimate reasons not to like the sport, but when people say things like that it really pisses me off. I play for the Sheffield Sabres and on the first play (the opening kick-off) of our season, one of our players broke his leg in 2 places. He'll probably never play any sort of sport again. Wanna tell him he's a girl?

He probably would, since with a broken leg, that guy wouldn't be able to fight back to defend his manhood. lol but yeah, you've got to be a tough mother****er to be a decent American football player from C-man's level to the NFL. I couldn't dare call, say, Ray Lewis a girl. I mean, the guy is like a predator on the field and some still allege that he murdered two persons. And Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg and tried to hide it :D OK, so those are silly examples but American football not only has most of the physical contact of rugby, but also other factors (forward pass, blocking, etc.) that make the game much more dangerous...also, my Giants would love to meet up with your Vikings in two weeks at our place to show you what it's like when they actually treat a game with some importance!

It's good to see that some people are talking sense compared to this.

Stupido.

It's a completely different game to rugby, the two seem to get compared all the time for no reason, usually by people that have never given it a chance because of an anti-American attitude.

I can understand if people don't like the stop-start nature of it but as C-Man has said it's definately NOT "rugby for girls."

American Football is hard hitting as fook. I can take a rugby tackle any day of the week put I'm not so keen on taking some of them hits.

Try playing AFL

I'm a bit miffed as to the popularity of Ice Hockey and Basketball in the US!

I suppose it's because they don't have football :D

Basketball is our football--all you need is a ball and a hoop.

And ice hockey is my favorite sport  but it's not nearly as popular as the other sports in the "Big Four." Football (soccer) will certainly overtake it in popularity, if it hasn't already.

Definitely ;)

Have you ever watched the match between the Aussies and the Irish in international rules? Quality lol

I've been a couple of times, but don't rate it. Oh wait except for this.
