SOCCERROO FOX Posted 5 January 2009 Author Posted 5 January 2009 That flying clothesline from 52 seconds onwards is incredible! And the hit on 2:13! I got clotheslined once got a free kick and a 50metre penalty i kicked a goal then waited til the umpire wasn't watching then pucnched him in the kidneys, starting an all in brawl God i miss playing footy
Fosse Boy Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 FT should take over Grace Road at one of the T20 games next season. I'm there! Gonna try and make a couple of the away games as well this summer. To anyone who said cricket: :@
Tommeh Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I only really follow Football, Darts, Golf and Tennis but I think that all sports have decent selling points and can understand anyone who will follow and participate in them. That said I do hold a special hate for Rugby.
Father Ted Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I've been a couple of times, but don't rate it. Oh wait except for this.Fights Typical Dirty aussie convicts The Irish are more skillful but the Aussie's are just brutal bastards!

Good lad. I just can't get into it and I've given it a proper try (no pun intended). I've been to Welford Road a couple of times, and the games at the Walkers and I just don't get it at all. The one thing that annoys me most I think is that when you score a try, the other team kick the ball back to you and give you another chance to score. I know it's about territory and that but I'd rather have control of the ball after conceeding! I do love a bit of Ice Hockey though and went to see the Nottingham Panthers a few times the other season. Fast paced, exciting, lots of goals and there's no such thing as a draw. Plus the odd fight never goes amiss!
Daggers Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 Anything aquatic, gymnastic, involving horses or played in a pub. They aren't sports - they're hobbies.
CosbehFox Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 The only time we see or hear about them is during the olympics, even the World Championships recieve little media attention. Tour De France. If we're going to badmouth american sports, badmouth Baseball. It's fucking woeful. Gotta agree. Rounders played at an extremely slow pace. Disagree with Ice Hockey. Been to the Panthers. Excellent sport. Might have to visit the Blaze soon. Firmly a Sheff fan, as they hate Cov and Notts. Basketball, I used to be an ardent fan of riders - home and away. As much as Footy. Used to see City play, go for something to eat and then pop down the B-ball. Then they moved to L'boro after visiting the first game, it was a turn-off.

Rubgy's great fun to play, enjoyable to watch too.

Corky Posted 8 January 2009 Posted 8 January 2009 and it doesnt make sense how can you have a one day test that is actually a competitive game that lasts for more than one day??!! That comment doesn't make sense. I think you mean a five-day test that lasts for more than one day.

AoWW Posted 10 January 2009 Posted 10 January 2009 Cricket is far more confusing - and much more dull - than rugby.
