I never said Southend was a tough draw, but they weren't "shit" or "easy" were they? Last season they only drew 1 Premier League team in the Fa Cup and that was Wigan, hardly the best, they beat them, and then were stupid to lose to Barnsley. The season before in the Fa Cup they played Maccelsfield at home a 6-1 win, Forest at home a 3-0 win, Norwich at home a 4-0 win, all games Leicester would win and that got them to the Quarters. This season so far 2 more easy home draws.

I reckon it's a pretty good draw myself. We haven't been promoted yet...its not all about preparation we have to earn the right to play them next season first

Think that justified the £20 match ticket, because the football which was played in between his appearance certainly didn't!

Agreed, I'm not entirely bothered about the notion that it's the FA Cup but the idea of wanting us to lose in general is ridiculous.

act smiley Posted 4 January 2009 Posted 4 January 2009 I'm not too fussed about the draw - its a ground I've not been to and fairly reasonable to get to for me, but hardly the greatest draw. Make up for my dismal non-showing at the previous rounds with the replay and then this, hopefully.
