FA Cup 4th Round Chit-Chat

I'm not really bothered, Palace can beat us now.

I'm have the view many people had of the JPT, At least we could realistically win the JPT (Which we are now out off ), realistically we won't win the F.A Cup, lets cut our losses and leave now.

I thought Howard got fooked up yesterday - Back strain or something, he looked cream crackered, lets just get on with the league.

Nah, I would like us to do well. Success breeds success and all that.

Damn. Wanted somewhere I haven't been.

Same here

I'm buzzin, not been Watford since we beat em 1-0 last day of season and Wolves drew at QPR which saw us into the play-offs. End of 95/96 season I think. Was a great drive home pullin up alongside Wolves coaches and blowin them a kiss! Good away end aswell down there. Still gotta beat Palace though but if we do then we got a good chance of being in 5th round draw

Agree with that no point picking up injuries in a comp we have no chance of winning and Watford is no incentive, tbh I can't see us winning at Selhurst anyway

lets get out of it in the replay, it would be good day with a fair few fans behind us at watford but the point of this season is to get back up so the best thing is to play the lads who are not playing 1st team week in week out v palace then focus on winning this league.

Leicester 3-0 Southend

Chelsea 1-1 Southend

City are better than Chelsea. Fact.

Check the draws from the last few seasons.

They pretty much always have an easy home tie.

Southend are shit, Chelsea missed a load of chances.

Your basically saying Southend at home is a tough draw you fool.

Last few seasons Chelsea have been at home against lower league opposition:

Beat Scunthorpe 3-1 after going behind

Beat Huddersfield 2-1

Beat us 4-3, went behind twice

Beat Colchester 3-1 after going behind

They may get easy draws on paper, but on the pitch they are given a tough time. I never said Southend was a tough draw, but they weren't "shit" or "easy" were they?

Hardly a bad tie is it?

There are a few other plus points from another Championship tie it will give us another chance to see if our current squad is capable of competing with the likes of Watford and Palace who we should be facing next season.

I would rather us get Championship sides away from home than a Premier League team at the Walkers.

Decent tie. Forest or Derby would of been mega though.

yeah, but if we beat palace and watford, we could get the winner in round 5, see...

One I can get to easily and another one where we can test ourselves against potential opposition for next season. I reckon it's a pretty good draw myself.

Remind me not to let Monk decide which train to get on after though...

Not to disappointed with that draw really. Had a couple of decent away days at Vicarage Road so wouldnt mind going again if we beat Palace

Another easy one for me to get to should we beat Palace. Nice

Gutted at the fact that we were left with Watford, Middlesborough and then Peterborough, Wolves/Birmingham, Forest and Derby! But ended up with Watford...
