RowlattsFox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Seeing as every other away game between now and March as a thread, I thought I might as well start this one. I'm quite looking forward to this for some reason, I've been told you can make a bit of noise at the Bescot.
CosbehFox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 I went when we won 4-1 and that's when I knew we'd go up. Cannae wait for this - all day in Coventry in my Leicester gear, quick word with the lecturar and go off we go down the M6 to the Bescot.
Maybes Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Its the Banks's Stadium. This should be good though. Would train it, not sure its possible?
Katy Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Ace, piece of piss to get to in the car. You can see it from the M6
syston_fox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Ace, piece of piss to get to in the car. You can see it from the M6 Driving me?
CosbehFox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Last train from Brum New Street to Leicester leaves at 22.19. The last train from Walsall to Brum is 21.40 - and gets to Brum New Street for 22.10. Tight as a nun's downstairs so to speak. The train station is literally outside the away end as well.
JoeyB Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Anyone got a rough idea how much it will be? i would have thought about £10- £15?
syston_fox Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 Is the correct answer.... to a question I didn't ask!

Nice well if a few go on train poilice will be on top, so they will hold the train like they did for villa away.

C-man Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 My last exam of the semester is on this date. Driving down from Sheff for it then back to Leicester for the night. Looking forward to this day, bigtime.
Katy Posted 5 January 2009 Posted 5 January 2009 In that case, can I book you for the FT game as well then please if its in the same place as last time? I should think so, it's hardly out of the way is it

Katy Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Change in VAT rate? Possible as they could have been £18 pound before. New VAT rate would make it £17.61 Hark at the Accountancy massive!
syston_fox Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Hark at the Accountancy massive! Not just adding and taking away you know!
CosbehFox Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Why are the coaches leaving at 4.30pm? That's 3 hours to do a hour trip. It maybe on the M6 but after 6pm, it's normally fine. City are losing dough there because a lot of folks will finish work at 5 or 5.30pm.
Bert Posted 9 January 2009 Posted 9 January 2009 Its the Banks's Stadium. This should be good though. Would train it, not sure its possible? Yeah. It's a squeeze but do-able. The 10 to 5 train gets you in at half 6, the 5.15 train gets you in at 7. Possible as they could have been £18 pound before. New VAT rate would make it £17.61 Why couldn't you replace Carol Vorderman on Countdown?
